Hi, tracked yes
The horse show was a mixed day for me. The riders at my barn did really well but at times I was missing Rueben but I am glad that I went. My trainer has posted a photo of "Lukas" that she tagged me in so I shared it on my FB page. I kind of hesitated to do it because it is not a done deal but then I decided to stop over thinking and if it doesn't work out it is OK. If I buy him I will try to post a picture here although I was unsuccessful at getting a profile pic up which is why I have the cartoon face. I have not actually seen him in person but I plan on driving out this afternoon after church to meet him. I was thinking of going yesterday but I was feeling a little emotional after the show and wanted to wait until I was excited to meet him and feeling happy because they can read your mood.
Barb- agree this is the perfect trail ride time of year!
Faye- Have a great show today!
HI to all!

Hi, all! Faye, good luck at the concert! Amy, I'm so excited for you, just looking is fun. I'm sorry yesterday was a bit of a rollercoaster but I bet you're really glad you went and that your friends appreciated your presence! Good luck to you today as well...he's a lovely animal Barb, I always loved this time of year as well...as you say, cooler, less bugs, no seriously crappy weather yet. You will trailer when you're ready, and if not, no biggy. You sound happy just riding the trails! Beth, hope today is better. Where you going to be there until closing or are you leaving early? Libby, yikes...I didn't see about the shooting but I tend to ignore news unless it's in my face. I'm so sorry...the crazies used to be reserved for California, now it seems as if they are sprouting everywhere Cat is kind of up and down. She was OK Friday pm, yesterday she was sore again in the front leg, and now the incontinence is back. I'm trying to prepare myself - emotionally - for whatever comes next. Going to mom and dad's today for belated birthday dinner. Going somewhere new, I guess. And trying to get back to tracking... Cathy

HI all- Cathy - photo of kitty was cute - she looks pretty healthy for all she's putting you through!
Amy loved the photo -hope it works out - but you have a good attitude -if it's not right -another will come along!
We had another lovely ride this morning w/ Skip & Dee -did our back longer trail -horses had a great time -after DH & I took Tundra out on the trail -DH took his bow saw to move a few limbs that were down, one passable, one we had to go around thru brush to pass -no more! He's good at doing that for me!
Made 2 apple crisps this afternoon -one to freeze, one to take to neighbors' house for dinner tonite-
ANother week has gone this new format seems to be a good one -I will work on Judy to get her over here this week!
Waving to all -

Hi Again
Barb-apple crisp sounds awesome!
Cathy- I am sorry you are going though so much with your cat these days. We love our animals that is for certain.
I finally went out to the barn this afternoon to see Lukas. He was just about to be brought in when I got there so I got to see him outside and he looked handsome. One first impression I got was that he has a great tail LOL. He was fine being led in and when he got in his stall the first thing he did was sniff the neighbors on either side. He looked out the window a little then drank and ate some hay. You can tell he is not used to being here yet but he is being a good boy about it. They said I could groom him so that was nice because I got some interaction with him. He was fine about being groomed and picked up his feet very nicely. I even put a little fly spray on him and he did not have a big reaction to the sprayer. I am guessing he is a good 16 hands, a little taller then Rueben. It is hard to tell without getting on him how I will fit him but it looks promising. They will probably ride him the first time today, so hopefully that goes well. He likes carrots! HA!
I will keep you posted but so far so good.
this just in....trainer just sent me 2 videos of him cantering a small course in the indoor arena. Looks very promising. She said she would ride him outside Monday and Tuesday and I can lesson on him on Wednesday. I will know a lot more once I ride him but it looks good so far.
