Hi. PT starts tomorrow-8 sessions scheduled over 10 weeks. Poor food choice items gone from my environment. I just got home with ingredients to make my tabouli salad, and am hard boiling eggs. I am using the next 10 weeks as a goal period to get myself together weight control-wise, which will dovetail with my PT goals, too. I need to get back down about 11 lbs to return to my free WW Lifetime weight. I weighed myself this morning, and will start back in at WW mtgs starting next Thursday, since I'm paying for them again sadly. I will not beat myself up about letting myself get caught up in comfort eating. I will make a card about how it doesn't help any of the issues I was seeking comfort for. I uncovered my meal planner pad, and will start using it again. I will start contacting my coach again regularly, and posting here for accountability. ETA Safe trip home, ermabom!

Hi all! February was good to me and I lost a little over 3 lbs.
my WW restart has been good for me and I am doing well on making a plan each day. I’m getting better at eating when I am hungry. I need to keep working on exercising.

Hi all. For the last month I’ve been tracking my weight via a moving average. It’s a small thing that has really helped me mentally, as it smooths out the ups and downs and I react less to the scale.

Mar 2-3 credits: Unfortunately, I have picked up a stomach bug that started showing symptoms on the trip. I cannot figure out where I got it because I've been very careful and other family members from the US ate the same food and I am the only one sick. As a result, I stuck to toast and rice/plain yogurt (a common S. Indian thing to eat that doesn't hurt the stomach) on the entire trip except for the first meal on the plane which was Wed night US time. I am still on this diet, eating only 2x a day. Drinking lots of fluids. I guzzled lots of water on the trip back. Fortunately, my seat close enough to the toilets on the plane that I could see that they were empty and take advantage of that. ermabom, sorry. Travel is problematic no matter how careful we are. I'm going on a 15 day cruise on March 12 (I normally would not cruise yet, but it's with my 86 year old close friend and I'm willing to risk it to spend time with her.) Anyway, I'm rolling the dice on it after being SUPER careful during the entirety of the pandemic. My gastro is not pleased with me. Friday credits: Weighed - up 0.6 lb. Hi old friends... I'll start by giving myself some weekend credits... We traveled home Friday after a 2 week vacation. I didn't accept the airplane snacks or use my free drink ticket. Had frozen veggie pizza when we got out vs. saying "oh well" and going out. Again. Saturday we played pickle ball then went to a late lunch and got groceries (meals are planned for the week). I wasn't hungry so didn't have any supper and didn't let the open bottle of wine call my name. Ignored DH eating ice cream and such. Sunday my focus is sitting and being present when I eat.

Happy Monday all, Ready for a good week. I checked post-vacation weight; up about a pound.
I didn't eat until overly full for dinner (no extra portion). We ate early (about 4pm) and then ignored DH's snacking about 7pm. Slept well.

Hi, Catching up. Started my PT, I'm pleased so far. Got some exercises to do daily at home. I couldn't get my next appt until the 20th 😒. I made a batch of black bean soup to join my healthy tabouli salad, and a bag of TJs spicy Mexican cauliflower mixed veggies to stir into it. I have a 5 day tracking streak going. I also got an attack of allergies/bad cold Saturday, and spent most of yesterday sleeping. Back using my meal planning pad, and have a short list of some new recipes I'd like to try to shake things up a bit.
ETA: Made a small side salad to go w my soup today. I had been having trouble with not wanting to make or eat salads since I had Covid last fall. It may be that I had just reached my limit for the salad as a meal for awhile.

Ugg, ermabom. Hope you feel better real soon. Cyn, I think it was over the weekend I read about your food prep and it inspired me. Thanks. I had a good day yesterday. Got more steps than I needed, lifted weights, and did some house cleaning. I had meals as planned and tolerated hunger. I also sat when I ate... Looking forward to another good day

ermabom , I use the Near East brand box mix of dried bulgar, which includes a flavoring packet, as a base shortcut. Once the bulgar's reconstituted, I add: 1TBS lemon infused olive oil Juice and zest of 2 large lemons From there it's a chop/dice, mix, and taste throw-in basically. I like more veg than grain, vs the picture on the box. Red onion Cucumber Grape tomatoes, a big handful Top leaves of a bunch of Italian parsley, well chopped Fresh mint, chopped (I don't always have this) Crumbled feta-2 or 3 TBS A generous sprinkle of sumac powder-I like the purply color, and the additional lemony flavor. Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. I'm sorry you're still not feeling great.
