Hi, Weighed in today, down 1 lb since I weighed in 2 weeks ago. It's a start! Got back on the salad for one meal train today. Hopefully I can stick with that plan. Will also be hard boiling some eggs in a bit to have easy protein on hand. Avoided chocolate, chips, and cookies at Aldi just now. I need to get back to my rule of not buying anything not on my shopping list, unless it's a veggie or fruit that's on special sale.

ermabom, I also like to set some intentions right when I wake up before getting out of bed, like May I progress on the path to liberation, for my benefit and the benefit of all beings, May I treat everyone with kindness and respect today, that sort of thing. Totally aspirational, not goals I think I will meet (anytime soon, anyway!). But it seems to help. Saturday credits: Weighed - down 1 lb. I texted them "Have y'all crashed and burned?!" and that prompted the return text.

Good deal. I get a nightly reminder from the 10% Happier app. I prefer lately to do other meditations, but I will close the day with a 5 minute one of theirs. I used to do their sleep meditations quite a bit, they are good. Sunday credits: Weighed - down 0.4 lb. Foursome in a condo. But something came up and they couldn't make it until 6. So pizza, wine and baked goods happened. I'm not going to attempt to figure out the calorie count for that meal.

Yesterday was a doozy. 3 hour dinner, tasting menu with wine pairing. Then off clubbing till 1:30AM. Didn't get to sleep until 3. My eyes are sooo tired.

Cyn, so sorry. ermabom, I am fairly impressed with myself (and Mr. Lani) that we were able to keep up with the youngsters at our age. I turn 70 on 12/11 and DH is 10 months younger than me. We are in pretty good shape, healthwise, I will say. Friday credits: Weighed - down 0.2 lb. Read new posts, posted Meditated Strength & flexibility exercises. I haven't done any cardio since our night of debauchery. Maybe walking today? I go at a fast clip, so I consider it cardio-ish. Ate sitting, mindfully Tracked Wrote plan for today We did have regular Friday pizza and wine after all. On the wagon until the 14th when I have lunch with my newly widowed friend. Speaking of losses.
