Jan 22 credits: Ate only at meal times and ate dinner early so that I could go to sleep early, instead of missing dinner. Resisted STs Logged food I need to start reading cards. Was going to exercise but got caught up in some stuff in the house and plain forgot till I was too tired.

Jan 23 credits: I didn't eat breakfast because I was going out to lunch - when I pick up/drop off my dad from/to my brother, we meet at a restaurant and eat lunch together in NJ. Ate lightly at dinner Didn't exercise Didn't read cards Didn't log food
I really need to get back into my routine.

Jan 24 credits: I only ate when I was hungry - which was not at meal times. Ate a small dinner at the usual time because I really want to get back on track with meal times Didn't exercise - just vegged out because I was brain dead Spent what little brain energy I had on trying to get a procedure scheduled for my father Going to try to do better today. I have a plan.

Jan 25 credits: I'm having some issues with my dad and his eating and as a result, I decided to go and work on fiber related stuff - weaving, knitting - instead of working out. Eating is fine. I resisted STs to eat ice cream at night. I need to manage this stress. SO doesn't come back till Feb 18 and I have to deal with my father alone until then. Exercise will help but I'm just feeling so lethargic about it all.
I am still making good food for us and that is in the fridge for me so I'm not eating junk

Jan 26 credits: My head is not in a good place right now due to my father’s pushing my buttons. Today I am going to try and get it back to where it needs to be, but I’m not holding my breath. I am trying to avoid any interactions with my father today.

Jan 29 credits; Intentions were good. I didn't achieve all of them. Didn't exercise - the day got away from me I did read at least my ARC Logged all the food
Going to continue with pre-planning/logging the day but going to focus more on getting it done. Today is a busy day though so we'll see what I get done.

Jan 30 credits: Not a great day. I was reasonably good most of the day but I overate at night because my dad is stressing me out. I'm not going to do it today. I should have time to exercise today and I will.

Sadly, he isn't anywhere close to dementia. He just knows how to push my buttons. Whether he does it deliberately or unintentionally, it still happens. SO is not around to keep me grounded.

Jan 31 credits: Not a great day. I had a wakeup call because my bloodwork isn't good. I think my stress-snacking of the last few months has taken a toll on my cholesterol and blood sugar. But my big credit was that I thought of the layer cake in the Beck book and stopped myself from snacking.
I'm going back to the diet I had for the first week I was back from India - high in fruits/veg and no snacks.
Also, exercise starts today. I have things I can do in the evening when I can't do yoga because I just ate or drank and I don't have the energy for walking/running. I need to do something every day.
