Good morning. Lots of rain last night kept me up so I didn't make it to spin class this morning. I have meal prep and laundry to do before soccer this afternoon, so it's probably best that I skipped. Yesterday was grocery shopping ($60ish) and then I bought one of those rectangle chopper things off of Amazon. I saw it posted in one of my shopping groups and there was a promo code that bought the price down to $12. Do I chop a lot of things? Not really, but I'd like to get back into eating more salads. Those have been put on hold because of my stomach issues, but I'm ready to start reintroducing them. bensgirl1, love the prom pics! Our school always has it on a Friday night (coming up this Friday), and they expect the kids to be in school. We'll have so many that will leave at lunch for "doctor's appointments" that it's a horribly disruptive day. I'll never understand why they don't have it on Saturday night.

Morning! We had very loud thunderstorms roll through for about 4 hours this morning, but they brought some much needed rain so I’m not complaining. No plans for today.
Spiff, that’s dumb to have Prom on a Friday. The girls need hours and hours to get their hair and makeup done and the salons can only do so many at a time. Or do the girls even still do that? Things are so different since my DD was that age.

Morning Hotts,
Enjoyed my massage yesterday and did a little shopping. I probably won't leave the house today.

Seems to be a mix here between DIY hair and makeup and salons - same with nails - BUT they do all spend HOURS getting ready.......

The kids in my school are predominantly African American, so my girls can literally spend 8 hours sitting in the chair at the salon. A lot of them will get their hair done on Wednesday or Thursday and just keep it up in a bonnet until their "big reveal" on prom night.

It’s been raining all day here, so I;ve been reorganizing everything. I did one of my closets and posted a couple of things on NextDoor. So far all I’ve gotten are spammers. Also reorganized my freezer and refrigerator sections. I have tons and tons of Rubbermaid bins soI have everything all divided and looking nice. I threw some old things away. I guess I was purganizing like Shelly.

Interesting day. It started with my monthly massage which was amazing.
Came home then cut the grass. First time cutting it this season. Now I’m exhausted and if I happen to fall asleep on the couch I will not complain.
When I went to prom I got both hair and makeup done because I’m clueless about that stuff, even to this day. Oh yeah and has my first personal training session last Thursday. Even though it was an assessment it was a good workout and I felt it. I have daily “homework” that I have to complete and check in on a regular basis.

The charger cord for my water heater sensor arrived and now it works! Thanks to google and amazon, I saved myself a couple hundred dollars that the plumber would have charged.
Reorganized my stockpile and gathered up all the plastic plates, cups, forks, etc that have been in my laundry room cabinets for years. My sister wants it all so I was able to bag it all up and reorganize my cabinets.

What is up strangers! I've been off exploring the NW part of ND for the last few days. WOW!!! I felt like I was on another planet. I've never seen anything like it. I was in awww of the landscape.
Thankfully the weather was gorgeous but I would imagine the area could be featured on Ice Road Truckers in the winter. Steep, curvy roads without any guardrails with 7-8% grade and 90 degree turns. Multiple pull off signs warning to add your chains before proceeding. Crazzzzzyyyyy! Truckers were flying around the oil fields. Lake Sakakawea looks like an ocean in person and so blue. We found a casino too! hahahhahha. Love this state!

Hi hotties! Can’t remember what we did Friday night but seem to recall something… kids’ soccer jamboree Saturday morning, yard work, Alms giving for Buddhist friend. Kids had a blast at the temple and then crashed and slept all night. It was a remembrance but we couldn’t understand most of what the monks said so it didn’t feel very sad.
Today we went to Flower World a huge nursery near where we used to live. Pizza for lunch.
