Good morning! Michelynn, have a great time at the meet-up! We are helping a friend clean out her garage and basement today, so this will be short. Our dinner was great last night. I had a chicken dish with spinach and ricotta cheese and a side of roasted vegetables. No pasta last night at the Italian restaurant. Esther, so many people have wonderful memories of Rhode Island due to the Navy. Middletown is a beautiful place, I love going to Sachuesst Point, a great place for bird watching during the spring and fall migrations. Hello to all I missed. Off to help my friend. Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning dear friends,
Lynn, helping your friend is awesome. Enjoy the time. I know that sounds kind of funny but sometimes that is the best conversation.
Michelynn, enjoy your gathering too.
Today will be kind of quiet for us. We want to go back through some open houses for our county's Parade of Home. We are going to do our best to find out if we can actually afford to downsize or not. We want to build a new home. It isn't new to us as we have done it two other times and we kind of enjoy the process as the end product.
Esther, how much more work do you have for your tax service??
Joyce, how are you, DH, and your parents doing?? I hope your infection has cleared up.
Maryenne, you must have really slept in this morning. Has DH adjusted to retirement??

Good morning all! Yes, I did sleep in because we stayed up late watching the final four episodes of "Stranger Things" on Netflix. If you like suspense and scary, I recommend it.
Michelynn, enjoy your brunch!
Lynn, I enjoy Italian food, but I do stay away from pasta most of the time. So that little side plate of spaghetti usually goes home with DH. Your chicken dish sounds wonderful.
Peg, DH seems to be happy with retirement. I had anxiety building up to it, but he appears to be adapting quite well.
I'm ridiculously happy to have today and tomorrow off with not a single obligation. It was a crazy, busy week at work so I'm allowing myself to be a slug and do whatever I want.
Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone!
Nothing special on our agenda today other than we plan to take my mom and dad out for ice cream and a short drive just to give them a break from the regular routine.
The sun is shining brightly now, which is a pleasant change from the hard rains we have had for the past 3 days. Maybe they have moved on out of our area. It seems it is always feast or famine when it comes to rain during the summer months.
Have a lovely day however you spend it, and waving to all who come later.

Hi, I thought I'd peek in and post. I'm definitely over 60 and still working. I'm a massage therapist who has been massaging for 45 years. Last October I learned a new form (for me) of body work and am totally loving it. It's called Process Acupressure and the results people receive seem to be so magical. Because of a repetitive motion arm injury I had to slow way down for a few months, but this week it's feeling better enough that I will feel ready very soon to continue to expand my small private practice. I, too, helped a friend organize her garage this morning. It's such fun to see a bit of chaos turn into a wide open, neat, organized space. We still have several walls of shelves to organize. It stymies her, but it excites me. It's been a great day so far. Greetings to all of you.

We did take my mom and dad out for ice cream to Baskin Robbins. First they each had double scoops in a waffle cone. Then they each had double scoops in a cup. Guess what? Now they say they don't want any dinner. I guess you can be a kid at any age. Actually, my diabetic dad shouldn't have had any at all, but as he says what else does he have to enjoy in life now. So live it up, Daddy!
