Good morning and happy Sunday!
I was indeed a slug yesterday, although I did pay the bills and did two rounds of yoga. I found a few yoga workouts on YouTube that I like. I like the ones that are more meditative as opposed to the ones that are more exercise-like. The speaker's voice has a lot to do with it, too.
Not sure what today will bring. What about you?

Good morning Maryenne and ATF, We went looking at the open houses is a neighborhood that we will possibly move to in another year. There is one plan in particular that we both like....but I don't know.....we would be going from a wide open back yard where most of our windows are to having another house (wndowless side) about 15 ft from a side deck? Do the advantages out way the disadvantages??? Lots to be thinking about. I did get about half of the yard mowed last night. I was doing fine mowing but just really didn't want to do anymore........a reason to move to a lot less yard and where it can all be done for us? ? Golden years?? Or bummer years?? Way too much to be thinking about...... ;-) Today we will probably go out for lunch as usual and there are a couple of open houses on the south side of town that I want to go through. We have always liked the houses that one of those builders has done. Should be fun! Anyway.....have a great day and I will continue to keep you posted on our housing dilemma. At this very minute I think we might just stay put.....giggle!! BBL Peg

Peg, I lived in urban Miami for many years, albeit on a 1/4 acre lot so not too close to neighbors. Now we're on five acres, can't see anyone else's house. I can't imagine living in a neighborhood again. Anyway, have fun!

Good morning ladies! Cleaning and purging BFF's garage and basement went well. There were plenty of helpers. We filled a huge dumpster, took two loads of scrap metal to the scrap yard, she got $60 for them. She still has more to do but will wait until fall to finish. We went to see our friends play at a local tavern last night. They were wonderful! We had a great time, they play Dylan, Van Morrison and the Eagles and similar music. Today I will do some dusting, vacuuming and laundry. DGD and her SO are coming over later. SO is a barber and will guide DGD tips and practice on men's haircuts. DH is the willing volunteer. Peg, have fun looking at the model homes! Maryenne, enjoy your "free" weekend! Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning!
Peg, good luck with the house hunting. You're right that it is such a big decision to make. I know that eventually we will move closer to DD and her family, but for the foreseeable future we will remain as we are. Not having a big yard to care for is a big plus, but then you can always hire a lawn service. Actually, we hired a lawn service this year. We have a very steep lot, and it was getting hard for DH so he sold his zero turn mower and now we have a service that is doing a good job.
Waving to all who come by later . . .

Hello to everyone
Lynn – You sound like you have so much energy. I just got around to doing laundry at the end of the day. Joyce – I hired someone to cut the grass since this arthritis flare up. The two co-owners of the house object to the cost, but neither of them is willing to do the yard work. It is good not to have to worry about it anymore.
Michelynn – I admire your courage in trying the French meetup. Are they going to continue? I am debating taking an intensive Hebrew conversation course in the fall. It really bothered me not to be able to talk to anyone when I was in Israel. Prayer book Hebrew is too different. I don’t have a lot of confidence in my ability to learn a language well enough to converse with people, but I definitely will get nowhere if I don’t try it.
Peg – good luck with your house hunting. I hope you find something you like. That is hard to do, very disruptive.
Can you go into your profile and rotate your picture?
I am in a lot of pain today, maybe from the humidity. I planned to go to a folk festival, but it was raining and I didn’t want to stand around in the rain.
Have a good night all.
