My primary is WW Smart Points. I'm a paying member and I love my meeting. So far, the plan hasn't ticked me off. Back up is MFP.

I have a MFP account so will resume using that but I may switch it to losing 1lb a week to have more calories as I found it really low. WW smart points would be my back up because I have all the materials on hand.

Primary is counting calories via Lose It, and watching macronutrients. Secondary will probably be MFP, or perhaps I'll consider WW PP through itrackbites. My biggest WL success was with PP, but my head was also in order at the time. I'm certain if my head is where it needs to be, I'll have success on anything. Well, except maybe smart points - I haven't been able to lose with it (perhaps also having to do with my head lol). I read my ARC this morrning, but I'm thinking of rewriting them. We'll see

My primary plan is the old Weight Watchers Momentum plan (points based on calories, fat and fiber (capped at 4 grams). I've been back on this plan since March 2015 and have been very successful. My secondary plan would be Calorie Counting via Fitbit, LoseIt, or another plan, keeping in mind the GHGs. PSA - We have a thread on this board for anyone on a WW program before Points Plus under GROUPS - DIETS AND WEIGHT LOSS PLANS. We welcome anyone to post

Haven't read all of the responses yet but wanted to check in before heading out to a ball game. I'm going to do MFP with WW Points Plus as my back up.

Ok I am changing mine. I said MFP and I would think of a back up. MFP will be my back up. I am going to go with eating whole, nutritious foods in proper portions.
I have been dieting for decades and I know how to eat to lose weight and eat healthily. I really really don't want to weigh, measure and track food. I know how. It's getting my head to stay in the game and I think, hope, and pray that Beck and the Willpower Instinct book will get me there.

My primary plan is gong to be WW points plus that I will track on ProTracker. My backup plan will be the exchange plan.
I've been great about being more mindful of when I see food and want to eat it or think that I want to eat something. For example, this afternoon I thought to myself that I wanted to eat something. When I explored why I thought I needed to eat I realized I wanted to eat because I felt stressed and I wanted to use food to comfort myself.

My primary plan will be the New Atkins 40. I feel much better limiting carbs and do better with some structure. My backup will be counting calories/macronutrients with Loseit.

I plan to follow the No S Diet which is no snacks, sweets or seconds except (sometimes) for days that start with "S". I have been loosely following it for a week or two and it is somewhat liberating not having to count calories or log food intake.
My back-up will be a 1500 calorie diet.

Question: I've been using MFP for a long time - what's the difference between that and Lose It?

I'm going to pick a Paleo eating plan and use Primal as my back-up. These are the ones that make me feel the best so I'd love to be able to stick to them.

Ok, and I've chosen: 1) 17 Day Diet 2) New Atkins 40 3) Failing both of these I'll just go back to straight tracking but by then hopefully I'll be eating less junk.

I plan to follow WW Points Plus. As a backup plan, I will go back to the original plan I started when I started WW, which was Winning Points.

I plan to follow an older variation of WW and use the iTrackBites app. I think it's the Points Plus version. My back up is Paleo.

My primary will be counting calories using MFP. I really wasn't sure what to select for my backup, but I learned new ideas from reading all of your entries. I will pick up the book Lean Habits as it sounds in the lines of concepts I can follow. Thanks to those who mentioned this book!
I like the emphasis on selecting a plan that is sustainable. Earlier this year my doctor advised that I really need to lose weight. He suggested following the South Beach Diet. I checked out the book from the library and flipped through it. Though I know many have had success with this plan, I just knew I would never stick with it, so I never even tried. Hated feeling defeated before I even started. I am so grateful I found this group!
