Happy Thursday! We had a big thunderstorm during the night that kept Irene and Lucille nervous. They're exhausted this morning.
Today is Friday for me - I have a rheumatology appointment tomorrow in Thomasville and just decided to take the whole day. Only one meeting today.

Good morning, all. I'm deciding whether or not to go to a cooking demonstration at the farmer's market. I just feel like getting out. Yesterday I spent time with my friend who just got out of the hospital. I took her a few groceries and visited for several hours. I tried to help her get her TV cable working, but it's going to need a service call. No real plans for today.

I,had a ton of fun yesterday. My college roommate and I sat and talked for 4 hours. There are just some people in your life that you can connect with, then reconnect with lots of years later and it is like you were never apart for a day.....she is just one of those people for me....it was awesome!!
Tonight we are going out to dinner with an older couple but first today will include a couple of errands, a little laundry, and deciding what to pack for our trip to DD's. We are leaving tomorrow about lunch time. DH is getting his hair cut first. Speaking of hair, mine is up to the point where I have started using a brush blow dryer that I have to help it to lay down without sticking straight out. I have another haircut scheduled in two weeks but I don't know if I will really need it or not.

Good morning everyone! It's another hot and steamy day here, and right now it is lightly raining. The temperature is not dropping, however, so it's just making it more humid. Joan, glad you were able to spend time with your friend and help her get settled back into home. Maryenne, enjoy your day tomorrow even if part of it does have to be spent at the doctor's. Hope you can squeeze some fun in as well. Peg, sounds like you had a wonderful visit with your college roommate. That must have been a lot of fun! Safe travels for you tomorrow. Esther, how's your hip? Hopefully the pain is getting better. Lynn, you probably had a lot of fun with the grandsons' sleepover; but, I suspect you may be tired today.  Michelynn, glad you are able to be back spinning. I know how much you enjoy that, and it's really good exercise. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, but nothing else major on the schedule for today. Have a lovely day everyone! |

I got up early to get a few outside things done before it got hotter. We're having a week of century (over 100) days.
DH and I went out to dinner last night to a favorite restaurant... it's the last Wednesday night before choir rehearsal starts again.

The grandsons had a great time!
They stayed up late because they aren't home!
I went shopping with oldest DGD today. Now off for errands before heading to the winery for some music tonight! Off to MA tomorrow for a few days.

Today was my day off and housecleaning/laundry day. I got the sheets changed, washed and dried, plus 4 more loads of laundry done. Dusted and vacuumed the bedroom, dusted and vacuumed the office, dusted and vacuumed the living room, cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed the carpet in there and the kitchen (I have kitchen grade carpet - a lot nicer on the feet than the old linoleum I had in there). Just have supper and dishes left to do.
