Maryenne, I wonder if a pulmonologist would have any idea about the internal tremors?

Michelynn, so glad you like the drawing class.
Needless to say we are enjoying our time with DD's family. We are going to the zoo today. The high temp is supposed to be 75, perfect weather for the zoo.
Lynn, your 2nd home sounds great!
Hope everyone has a super charged Sunday!

Good morning Michelynn, interesting question - what do you see as the connection? I'm a little surprised that the neurologist didn't order nerve conduction studies.
I don't have any plans today. DH is going to do some errands and pick up a computer to fix. He really enjoys helping people with their computers and makes a little side money that way.
Last night we went to a local venue for a bluegrass show. The place is in an old feed store and is billed as a "listening room." Probably only holds 100 people and they have live music of all kinds throughout the week. The acoustics are wonderful and they also sell beer and wine. The first act last night was Ricko Donovan who plays the hammered dulcimer. The second act was a group called the Bottom Dollar Boys and they were great. We both really enjoyed our evening out.
It looks like it will be rainy today. So much for my idea of washing and hanging out the bathroom rugs.
Happy Sunday!
Hi Peg! we must have been posting at the same time. Enjoy your day!

Good morning! Michelynn, so glad you are enjoying the art class! Peg, glad you are enjoying your visit; and, Maryenne, the bluegrass music sounds like so much fun! I really enjoy listening to bluegrass, and that sounds like a great venue. Lynn, I agree with Peg that your 2nd home in MA sounds lovely! I know you are so glad to have the renovations now ready to enjoy. Esther and Joan, hope the weekend is going well for both of you. We just got home from taking my mom and dad out for breakfast to celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary. It went well, and I think they both enjoyed it. My mom was a little leery about going--anything outside the norm for her now makes her nervous, but things went smoothly so I think she did relax enough to enjoy her breakfast and the change in routine. Later today we're going to go to Best Buy to get a new Roku for DH to use on his upstairs TV. He likes to watch Netflix, and the Roku he's been using has worked great for a couple of years now, but suddenly stopped working. Netflix tech support says that it is not a Netflix issue but rather a Roku issue, Roku's tech support actually says it's not a Roku issue but an issue with our Internet provider. I don't really see how that's possible as the Internet, TV, and phone service all comes through Comcast and everything is working well except for not being able to watch Netflix which is the only thing the Roku is used for. Anyway, we're going to try just getting another Roku and see if that works. Trying to deal with tech support with our Internet provider is just a nightmare as you can't get anyone who actually speaks so that you can understand them or that they can understand you. It's usually located somewhere in India, etc. So if the new Roku doesn't work, we'll just return it and I guess have to cancel the Netflix subscription. Hope that doesn't happen as DH really enjoys it, but I don't know what else to do as it is definitely way out of our limited technical understanding. Maryenne, wish your DH made house calls to TN! Have a lovely day everyone!

Good morning, all. It looks like another gorgeous day here. It sounds like everyone is keeping busy. No Sunday plans here. I'm available if my BFF calls & wants any company today. She said she will call if she is "fit for friends." Dying is a rough journey. I know she is torn between wanting/needing connection and feeling like hell and wanting to be alone. I sat down & ordered some cards from Current to keep on hand. It's nice to let someone know you're thinking of them. I gave up on a TV in the bedroom when the cable company started charging for the "box" needed to receive the signal but I have considered getting one just for the Roku stick. I have found several series that I enjoy very much, and sense I try NOT to watch the TV news (it's too depressing & raises my blood pressure!) before bed, online stuff might be the answer.

Good evening friends! Two days into the clean and purge, we have set aside time every day for something fun. Tonight it's meeting up with friends from New York at our local brewery. The gardens here look great. We are now in the maintainable stage, so less time is needed. We have some annuals mixed with perennials. A few perennial herbs, no veggies. Our garden is well-known in town, it has been a focal point for decades. My grandfather, uncle, father and now DH and I have enjoyed giving visual pleasure to residents and visitors alike. Our dahlia, gladiolas, and canna lilies serve a similar function in RI. DH is the primary gardener, I am the helper! I just learned about "Smart" tvs from DS. He bought one for the rec room in the basement. I told him there was no cable drop down there and he told me that it works off the wi-fi. It hooks up to the Roku, so they enjoy NetFlix in their little haven! Have a good evening! Lynn
