Good morning dear friends,
Happy TGIF everyone. Not much planned for today. I do hope to get out and look for some shoes, not that I really need them, but sounds like fun. We fly to Denver on Wednesday.....can't wait. We were talking this morning that when our cat was living she would get really upset when the suitcases would come out. She would hiss, bat at our feet, etc. it was funny but obviously gave her a great deal of stress.
What is everyone up to today?? Any fun planned for the weekend??

Good morning all!
Hair appointment this morning. Dinner with friends tonight, spending Saturday with DD and her family. DH is helping prepare the wood pile for the Labor Day clambake on Sunday. I will spend Sunday learning how to work my new computer.
I can't believe September is around the corner!
DH and DS finished cutting down the tree that fell on the woodshed last week. It is a miracle that it did not fall on the house! DS is cutting a slab so we can count the rings. They took down a couple of other trees, too.

My BFF and I took a great cooking class last night that illustrated the influence of French colonials' cooking on Viet Namese cuisine ... LOVE ban mi!

Good morning and Happy Friday!
As usual it sounds like everyone is active and has some fun things planned. I'm looking forward to the weekend as well, as an opportunity to slow down a bit. It's been a very busy couple of weeks here.
This morning we have already been for my mom's physical therapy, and this afternoon I'm taking my dad to the dentist. He is having some pain. All week has been booked with appointments, so the entire weekend with nothing scheduled sounds especially nice.

Hello everyone
The dog and I went to visit a memory unit this morning, then to the assisted living facility and then to visit a staff member who is in rehab. She quit greeting people along about the 3rd visit. It was too much for her. She has been asleep ever since we got home. It is a long ride there and I wanted to do all the visits in one trip. I would reconsider another time.
The massage last night was not a great success. I am in too much pain to be touched very much. I am going to stay home for a while and rest.
Peg – I had a dog once who used to act up when the suitcases came out. She knew she was going to be left behind.
Joyce – I hope your weekend is quiet and uneventful!
