Over 60 & Still Working/Saturday

Good morning dear friends,

Yesterday turned out to be productive after a quiet morning.  DH decided he would put up the new curtain rod (we actually got it a year ago) in the dinning room.  I might have nudged just a little (LOL) as I bought new curtains.  We realized we need a smaller rod so that got ordered but we figured out a temporary fix so we will still be able to get it all up before we leave next week.  After DH got rolling and everything was opened and organized for him I got the yard mowed......thank goodness that is done.

Today we are off to my sister's to have lunch with her and DSIL then we will visit for a few hours.  JoAnn Fabric has a double coupon sale today so I may try getting over there once we get back.  I'm not looking for anything specific but the sale is awesome SO I am hopeful that I might find something to trigger my creative juices.  LOL!!  I think my juices may be all dried up.

Esther, hope your hip continues to heal.

Michelynn, how long before you will have access to your condo again??  I think it is awesome that you are able to help out.

No plans to go to Louisiana for a while

Clambake plans are in the works. DH and others are cutting wood tomorrow.
The rest of us will work Friday and Saturday on getting the bake together- the chowder, grinding clams for the clam cakes and chowder and assembling the bags with the vegetables, fish and sausage next week.
Had a wonderful day with DD's family today. Grilled chicken, had salad and farm fresh corn.
