We are leaving in a couple of hours but wanted to stop here quickly to wave to all.  I am really excited as we will be having dinner with DS and his SO -- probably pizza.  I am all packed except for morning things.

Good morning!

It's a routine day here, and I'm celebrating that. In fact, we have two entire days in the middle of the week with no outside appointments. We've had so many busy weeks for the past month, that this feels like a real reason to celebrate! So my celebration so far has entailed getting caught up with the bookkeeping tasks for the rental business and my mom and dad's finances, and doing laundry.

Went to spin class this morning, then out to lunch with BFF, then to a special showing of The King and I at a local theatre and now to pick up my 85 year old friend to take her to choir rehearsal. She's in assisted living now and can't drive any more.

Safe travels, Peg! Sorry I haven't logged in. I did travel to Orlando Monday early and got back late last night. Then off to work this morning. My son is up in Chicago this week, but his SO stayed here with us. She's delightful.

We are keeping an eye on the storm. It will be lots of rain and our dirt road will get very muddy.
