Good morning!  Didn't see the thread started, so thought I'd get us started today.

It's a normal day for us here with no appointments scheduled outside, however, the home health nurse will come today for my dad. My cleaning lady is here now, etc.

Good morning all!
Joyce, enjoy another quiet day.
We have had a bit of rain this morning in MA. There are thunder storms in RI, where we will be headed shortly. We will be back next week for a few days.
We had a lovely visit with a friend last night.
I hope Maryenne is not in the storm's way, but it sounds like all of Florida is under a storm watch.
Traveling back to RI later, looking forward to the annual clambake on Sunday. We will be helping wit the prep work tomorrow and Saturday. Saturday night we are going to our neighbor's surprise birthday party. Busy weekend!

The storm will hit our area tonight. They are closing our offices at noon.

We're having a light rain so far. DS' SO and I went out to find candles. None of the plumber type to be found and the hardware store ws selling candlesticks for $5, so we bought those tall Virgin of Guadeloupe candles at Dollar General after looking at four different stores. DH is boarding up windows. I brought the plants in from the porch. I don't think there will be any "severe" weather until midnight or after.  I hope we don't lose power.

We just got back from a pet therapy visit to the local hospital. She is a nice distraction for the patients.
