Good morning! I'll start us off again today. Poor Maryenne may be without power from Hermine. Certainly she's probably had a lot of rain. Hope all is well.
Taking my mom for therapy this morning, so not a lot of time. Will check back later . . .

Good morning and Happy Friday to everyone
I have no obligations today. I am enjoying a peaceful holiday weekend. I am planning to take the dog to Lexington and Concord to walk in the woods. Tomorrow I am going to go to the ocean. I need to dip my toes in it every once in a while.
Sunday we have book group with my DD and DS and DDIL. I read a book called "Champagne Baby" about a French woman from a wine making family who came to stay in the US for a while to sell her family's wine. She had not been interested in her family's business so the trip was an occasion to learn about wine as well as learning English. I am going to bring some wine for the group to taste. Since I know very little about wine I hope the local wine store can help me bring something people will enjoy.
Have a great Labor Day weekend all.

Good morning all. My condolences on the loss of your friend's husband Michelynn. Esther, we are having gorgeous weather today after yesterday's thunderstorms. Enjoy your walks and the beach. I hope things are good with Maryenne. The news has been focusing on Cedar Key and Tampa, but it seems that all of Florida is affected one way or another. Waving to Peg, Joyce, Joan and anyone I may have missed. Errands today, touching base with my sister. Getting ready for a long weekend at Cape Cod next week. Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning all,
We arrived at the Lodge yesterday in good shape. The weather is beautiful this morning.....we have walked over a mile the morning just getting breakfast, etc. We absolutely love this place. DS and SO arrive tomorrow afternoon for their 36 hour whirlwind visit.
Off to drive 6 miles north to a marina with museum, exhibits, and small grocery. There are also some pretty short hiking trails there so we may take one of them too. We don't sit a lot while we are here. The rooms here don't have TVs at all.
Waving to everyone!
Peg
