Good morning dear friends,

Maryenne, hope all is OK for you?? We are all anxious to hear from you whenever you can.  Prayers!!

We are enjoying our trip.  We drove up to see where the forest fire went through in late August......dramatic!!

DD and family are traveling to Branson for the long weekend and are in northern Missouri. So the DGSs felt their first earthquake this morning.  DS and SO are heading up from Denver to join us this afternoon.

Michelynn, did you feel this morning's earthquake where you were? I know you are in OK, but not sure how close to the quake.

It is going to be a quiet holiday weekend for us, but sometimes that can be a good thing.

Sorry for the late post. We have had no power or water since 9 Thursday night. Our generator is small and useless, so Carmen (DS'SO) and I drove to Dothan Alabama to buy one. I ordered it online last night. I was able to charge my phone on the 2.5 hour drive.up. The generator is now running our well pump and a fan and the fridge. I cooked some of the food. but we'll end up throwing a.lot out. I'll face that tomorrow. It was fabulous to take a cold shower.

I would not make a good pioneer woman.
