Good morning and welcome Smith!
I actually have a day with no meetings on my calendar (state agencies are meeting crazy!). I'm going to spend the day sorting through all those boxes of files I brought to the new office. I need a bigger dumpster! Tonight is yoga - my favorite night of the week.
Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Hi all,
It took me all afternoon to get the new dining room curtains down, pressed and rehung. You ask how and why, well so do I........mostly because DH got involved. The curtains are lined which meant pressing off both sides being careful not to wrinkle the bottom layer. The next step, rehanging, would have been simple enough except the support pieces had to be moved on two sections to allow the curtains to close completely......enter DH and a dead drill battery......a few hours later the drill was workable and DH went to work....oh yes, he was expected to clean up his mess.....enter time to clean a window......finally I got the last two panels hung. They look tons better and we were done before dinner.
House cleaners come today so I need to get myself ready and a few things picked up. Check back later.

Good morning everyone and welcome Smith! Maryenne, having a day with no meetings must feel like a real treat. You're right that any kind of government agencies seem to go overboard with the meetings. Peg, glad you got your new DR curtains up, and that you're pleased with them. Projects at your house sound a lot like the way projects at my house usually turn out -- take much longer than what you were expecting! No projects planned for me today. The home health nurse will be here later, and I have some errands that need to be taken care of today. I think I may pass those along to DH and let him do them for me. I do also have some bookkeeping that needs to be done on the rental properties, so I guess I have a project planned after all. Have a lovely day everyone!

Good morning everyone
Peg - I am glad your health continues to improve.
I had an early rehearsal of the baroque ensemble today. We discovered a new composer from the 1600s, Ucellini. I am getting my hair cut at one, looking forward to that.
The hips are still very sore. I would like some medical person to work with me to try and improve them. The 3 people I saw don't seem interested. I am going to try a yoga class tomorrow and an arthritis group in a pool Friday.
Waves to all!

Good afternoon friends. We just returned from our first seasonal shift at the winery. It was hot and sunny and I am exhausted! But in a good way. Laundry and a nap are on the agenda this afternoon. Salmon for dinner tonight along with parsnips and carrots mashed together and a salad. What's on your menu tonight? Have a great day! Lynn
