Yeah Thursday! Friday Eve!
On Day 4 of the continuing saga of my first week at new job, today they are going to rearrange all the walls in my cubicle to make it bigger! Part of that will be the addition of little file cabinets so that I have a place to put all the files that are sitting in boxes on the floor. So far everything is going well and it has been a good week.
Strange dream last night - we moved into a new house (get that symbolism?) and at night pterodactyls were flying into the house. I was frantic trying to find the cats. Some friends came over and were explaining to me how they cope with this. What a strange dream.
Michelynn, sounds like you are in a sorting kind of mood!

Good morning all,
Well ladies this week seems to be flying by. Today we are having a real estate agent come to the house to give us an estimate as to what it might sell for and what projects, if any, need to be done before putting it on the market. We are just at the exploration stage and want to find out if we can even afford to downsize and a big chunk of that is how much this one might sell for. We are meeting with a second agent tomorrow. We'll compare what they tell us and then take some time to decide our next step.
Maryenne, glad your first week is moving right along.

Good morning!
Maryenne, glad your first week is still going well.
Peg, downsizing is a big step. You're wise not to rush into anything and think it over carefully, but if I recall I think you've mentioned bedrooms being upstairs where you are now and that's difficult as we get older. Plus we just don't need as much space to have to maintain. Lots to be considered. Do you know what area you might want to move to?
My cleaning lady is here this morning, and the physical therapist will be here for my dad shortly. This afternoon I am taking my mom for therapy again. Think I'll order out for our lunch. There's a really nice homestyle cafe here in town that we like their food. They have a different menu everyday, and post it online. So I'll probably order from there and go pick it up.
Lynne, I expect you are glad to get home but hope you enjoyed your time at the Cape.
Esther, how's your contra band practice and practice with the shofar?
Joan, how's your daughter? I hope she is healing well.

Good afternoon friends!
We had a great time at the Cape and totally relaxed while there.
I made my appointment to sign up for Medicare and am reviewing my supplemental insurance options.
I have made an appointment to have an uplifting toenail looked at next week.
Monday evening the cookbook club meets at the local library and I am bringing a watermelon and feta salad from one of this months cookbooks to share.
I am finishing laundry, filling humming bird feeders and running some errands while DH is at the dentist. Tonight I meet with the local pub manager to plan out the fall window displays.
Downsizing is a big decision, Peg. It sounds like you have planned your decision making in a timely manner.
I hope you are settling in to the new office smoothly Maryenne.
Joyce, take out lunch sounds like a nice treat for you today. Enjoy!
