Over 60 & Still Working/Saturday

Good morning dear friends,

Well now that we've talked with two real estate agents about our home we have to make the decision as to whether to proceed or not.  We are still waiting on an estimate from the first agent.  We did think the 2nd gal was lower than we had hoped so we've looked over her estimate and we have a couple of questions that I will email her on Monday.  We do know we want to proceed with painting, stripping the deck, and having some cracked tiles evaluated and replaced.

We are having a rainy day in IN so I am not sure what I might get into.  We will be driving to Omaha on Friday for oldest DGS's 9th birthday.

Good morning! It's going to be a quiet day here, and it looks like it will be a rainy one. Rain hasn't started yet, but it's dark out and you can tell it is on the way.

DH is out of town again. He's getting a new lease signed, and checking out some more possibilities to buy. We're at six rentals now, and he wants to bring that up to ten. Don't ask me why that number, but he has some sort of "magic formula" he's developed to work with. It keeps him occupied, and so far it's worked out well for us so I just sit back and let him enjoy it.

Peg, are you considering moving into a house or a condo? Have you looked at places you think you might like yet, or are you considering building to suit your own needs?

Good morning Peg and Joyce and everyone,

What a glory to sleep in! We have nothing that absolutely requires us to leave the house today, although I probably should go to the grocery store. I might figure out a way to hold off until tomorrow. I do plan to visit a former co-worker in a nursing home tomorrow and perhaps go to a yoga class at 4:30, so shopping might wait until then.

I guess I sound lazy, but I'm still fighting this cold and feeling the need to chill out after my first week at the new job.

Sounds like you are both having rainy days - we might as well. I wanted to see the full moon last night but it was too cloudy. Rain would definitely cool things down a bit for us. We're still in the 90s.
