Good morning all,
Joan, great to see you again! So sorry about your bff.
Lynn, was that a salad you made with the watermelon, onion, feta? I've had something similar with balsamic vinegar added. Yes, I do seem to be over my cold, although DH is still coughing a bit.
I stayed up late watching "The Help." I read it a few years ago but had not seen the movie.
Nothing much today at work -- just continuing to organize the new office.

Welcome back Joan, we've missed you!! How is your DD dong?
We got the info from the first real estate agent and her selling price would be 15,000 to 25,000 higher. So I am going to email the low one and ask why only $90 a sq ft while all others have sold for at least $96 a sq ft. Also she came up with her number without even seeing the property or knowing the exact sqfootage. Hopefully she will revise her number upward some, at least we are going to give her the opportunity.
Today is lunch with our retired teachers group and I will get the yard mowed sometime after that.

Physical therapy is coming today for my dad, and I am doing laundry, etc. Nothing exciting going on here.

Joan - It is good to hear from you. I'm very sorry about your BFF. A long friendship leaves a large hole in your life. How is your DD doing?
I am having my annual mammogram this afternoon. I am trying to call and preregister, but have not been able to get through to them.
Weather is still hot and humid, 98+ humidity. I am afraid when it changes it will suddenly be very cold.

Joan, I am so sad for you losing your BFF. We are at that time of life where we start losing our contemporaries and not just our elders. It isn't easy to make new friends at our age --- but it is important.
The drive to BTR from OKC is a little over 600 miles.

Good afternoon friends.
The watermelon salad is delicious! The recipe calls for a drizzle of olive oil. I like the idea of the balsalmic vinegar, I will try it next time.
It has been raining all day, we really need it!
This afternoon I am going through my soap making supplies to get ready for fall and winter soapmaking.
