Good morning everyone!
Well I am in a chair at the cancer center in town waiting to get Zometa for the first time si ce my root canal....... this is going to be awhile as I have to see a NP before things can get started and she is with a patient. I've already been here for 50 minutes. Oh well, relax, this too will pass! Hopefully I will have a chance to at least get started on my long list of errands that I brought with me....complete with a stack of coupons.
I did have fun at lunch yesterday. We don't usually talk politics because of very diverse opinions but we were actually able to talk with everyone simply sharing thoughts and perceptions. Very interesting! I did get the lawn mowed yesterday too!! We are going to have it mowed next weekend while we are in Omaha.
Still thinking about selling the house. Our target date for putting it on the market will be mid March.

Good morning all.
It is raining again, which is a good thing since we are in a drought. I have been to WW this morning, stayed the same which is good.
I have increasing my steps each week by 10%. This is working great, most days I exceed my goal.
The cookbook club meeting and food was great last night. We had a lovely assortment of food from three middle eastern cookbooks. The watermelon salad was a hit. Next month we are using Ina Garten's Barefoot Contessa at Home cookbook. I picked up the book last night and started reading it.
Peg, good luck with the infusion. Knowing you I am sure you brought something along to amuse yourself!
The rain has stopped so I will head out for a walk and then go shopping for a comforter before heading to the podiatrist. Have a great day! Lynn

Turns out no PT today for my mom. She is having a major meltdown, and is just not able to go. I am at my wit's end, and have no idea what to do. I don't know what has brought this episode on, and I'm not sure she does either. I'm reaching the point that I'm not sure I can provide what they need here at home any longer or at least what she needs, which I don't know what is. Just feel truly heartbroken right now. Sorry, but I just needed to "voice" that out loud even if it is only on a message board.

I met with a departing client today, gradually turning them all over to my replacements. Her computer was not working so we will meet again on Thursday.
I will be glad when it is all over, probably the end of October.

Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about the event events with your mother. Virtual hugs to you and prayers for your family. We have all vented here from time to time. It is a safe place. Breathe in my friend!
Esther, it must feel good to know you are handing your clients over to competent people. I hope you will enjoy being fully retired soon.
