Good morning everyone,
Lynn, I've found that I'm walking more since I have my new office. It's farther from the elevators and closer to a stairwell also.
I have a very busy day at work today - an early meeting with the BIG boss, another meeting to discuss a presentation in DC (!), and then a few more after that.
Yoga was great last night. I really should do it more than once a week.
Hugs all around ~ Have a great Thursday!

Good morning all
I am keeping a log of good and bad days with the hip pain, trying to figure out what is helpful. I have also started a list of questions for the orthopedic appointment next Monday. I am also sending the list of questions online to my primary care doc.
I have a client coming today to go over her work so I can let her go. It is a mixed bag to let go of a business I built. I have 3 payroll tax clients left, 2 after today. I expect to be done by the middle of October.
Have a good Thursday everyone.

Good morning and Happy First Day of Autumn! It doesn't feel anything like autumn here. It's very hot, but the sun is shining and it looks pretty out the window.
This morning I'm getting a past due haircut, and then taking my dad to the doctor this afternoon. Nothing exciting on the agenda for today, but it will be a full day. Will probably stop and get take out for lunch on my way from the beauty shop. It's next door to that home cooking style cafe I think I may have mentioned here before. I'll check their online menu before I go, as it changes every day.
Waving to all who stop by later!

Hi all,
Well it is a truly beautiful day here today...very warm for the first day of fall but the sky is very blue. I was out of the house early this morning running some errands. Now I need to get packed for our five day trip to see DD and family - two days of driving and three days with them. We will get to watch three soccer games and a flag football game.....we are excited.
As for my daily steps I am using an evening walk to guarantee that I get at least 5000 steps daily. Lynn, I like your idea of increasing your steps by 10% weekly. I am still working on daily consistency. I want to mark a month of at least 5000 steps daily then I'll start working on increasing.
Esther, hope you are able to pinpoint some things that help your hip pain. I had one hip replaced 10 years ago and to that point it was the best thing I had ever done.....now I would say it would have to be the transplant.
Waving to everyone!
Peg
