OK I'm back. Just sitting here at the computer with my coffee scrolling through the discussions. No plans today except paying bills. DS and his SO left last week and I haven't changed the bed in the guest room yet. I need to do that this weekend, because DH is taking his BFF to have cataract surgery next week and he is going to overnight with us. He's a retired mechanic and a vet, so they have to drive about 3 hours to the VH for the surgery.
I think I'll make a big pot of spaghetti sauce to freeze up into dinner-size packets.

Good afternoon friends.
Not much planned here either. Our granddaughter is coming for a while this afternoon. I do need to get to the grocery store today or tomorrow.
Other than the shorter days it hasn't felt like fall yet. We still have temps in the 80's. I agree with Esther's post from yesterday and hope we don't go directly to cold wintery weather. I love the transition between summer and winter.

Happy lunch time to all!!
We are at DD's and watched soccer this morning. This afternoon DGS is having his b'day party, taking three friends to an indoor (it is raining here now) play place for a couple of hours. We may skip it as we will be keeping the boys this evening by ourselves. A lot of patience is always required for that.
Our drive yesterday was long but good. I did get stopped in IL for speeding but lucked out with a warning. Traffic wasn't horrible.
We will watch middle DGS play flag football tomorrow, he will be the starting quarterback. Nebraska takes their football, even flag, very seriously. It should be a fun afternoon.
It is pouring down rain rig now so I may have to do a lot of house walking today.

Hello
Spent part of the day at a local festival listening to folk and bluegrass music. High humidity otherwise a pleasant day. I am ready for fall, too.
Esther, did you try the water exercises? I am going three times a week before work. Makes a long day as I leave home at 5:45 am and get home at 6:00 pm but it is good for me.
Did laundry and a bit of kitchen cleaning today. Tomorrow I need to shop - got my refrigerator fixed so now I have a cold, but empty frig.
