Good morning all and Happy Monday~ I stayed up too late watching yet another season of Longmire and then had trouble falling asleep. I guess I finally did but the morning came too soon! I enjoyed lunch with my two friends at the Riverside Cafe - fried shrimp and all the fixins - and then the talk about swallow-tailed kites. I'm fascinated with these gorgeous birds because every May I see one or two soaring around a particular intersection between home and town. They have a fascinating social life and migratory season. I also picked up a couple of gifts at the refuge visitors center. A few meetings today, but not much else going on. Happy to say the humidity has dropped and our high will only be 88.

Good morning friends. Just puttering around this morning, finished laundry, made meal plan and shopping list. Our weather is cool and cloudy. Rumor has it the sun may come out today. New England is keeping an eye on Hurricane Matt. It looks like we will be affected one way or another. Pot roast for dinner tomorrow. Shrimp stir fry tonight. I am out Wednesday night, so DH will fend for himself. Thursday night is farm to table dinne at a nearby restaurant. Friday will be meatloaf in a pumpkin. What's on your menu this week? Lynn

Good morning Marenne, Lynn, and all to follow!
Lynn, I don't have any idea what I will cook tonight or the rest of the week....other than I will be cooking. I might fix a pork chop recipe that uses a can of Progresso Onion soup as gravy, it doesn't taste oniony at all.
Maryenne, glad your week should be pretty slow. Hope it stays that way.
I need to get the first of the month bills paid. Also I have a hair cut tomorrow. My hair is thicker and courser than is was before so I need to ask my stylist what products I need to use on it now.
I did call the surgeon's office this morning and the nurse was able to squeeze me in next Monday and she penciled in the surgery for next Thurs., the 13th, lots better than my initial appt scheduled for the 18th and then having to schedule the surgery after that.
DH is going to work on the deck rail again this week and hopefully get it all finished. I have some minor projects planned for the week. My gall bladder pain is almost all gone this morning.
