Good morning all - Lynn, your menus sound great!
Peg, glad your pain is easing up and hoping it stays that way!
I woke up at 3:30 and finally went back to sleep around 4:30. I went to bed early so that's probably the reason. Also having a little anxiety about some issues with DS and with work. When I went back to sleep, I dreamed about both of those. Ugh.
We're keeping an eye on Hurricane Matthew and expecting rain from it but not a huge impact for us, we don't think.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday!
Maryenne

Good Morning
Not much sleep last night. Seems to go in cycles.
Went to the pool exercises before work yesterday. Today I will go to the gym after work and do a few things but mostly spend time on the recumbent bike.
Packed turkey/lettuce wraps for lunch with a yogurt and some watermelon. I so need to plan dinners better. Not sure when I quit doing that.
Rain and storms in the forecast today.
Peg - hope you continue to have less pain. What a relief!
Have a good day

Good morning dear friends,
Yesterday was another quiet day but my pain is virtually gone! Hurray!! Hope it stays that way for nine days.
I am off to get a hair cut late this morning. I can't wait to see if there is anything she can do to tame my more rough textured hair. I am thrilled to have it back BUT it isn't what I am used to so I need help making some adjustments. I think DH is going to meet me for lunch somewhere....no ideas as to where yet. I am actually hungry this morning, first since trip to ER.
Lynn, we ended up with pulled pork out of the freezer that I had made back in early July. I am bad as I never plan a week's worth of menus. We have a 12 cu. ft. freezer so I try to decide what t want to cook by around noon and then take the meat out of the freezers do go from there.. No ideas for dinner yet. When I was working I became a real expert at thawing meet in the microwave.
Do you guys all remember the angel food cake with only a can of 20 oz crushed pineapple?? Well I made the cake yesterday. It tastes really good. I hadn't thought about it for several years. DH likes it too.
Wishing everyone a great day!
Peg

Peg - if it is gallstones, there's not much you can do on your own and it's not good to wait. I'm glad you have an earlier appointment. Have you had an ultrasound? If not, that's likely to be one of the first diagnostic procedures. If it starts hurting badly between now and your appointment - don't hesitate to go to the emergency room! medlineplus.gov/gallstones.html

Good morning everyone! Peg, glad you are feeling better. Its' a bright sunny day here with a high expected of 85. I have a load of clothes ready to go in the dryer with another ready to be put into the wash. This afternoon I have a mammogram and bone density test, and will stop by the grocery store after that. DGKs are on Fall Break this week, and since both DSIL and DD work that makes childcare become an issue. They are staying with DSIL's mother yesterday and today, and tomorrow DH is going down to pick them up and bring them back to stay with us for the rest of the week. That will certainly keep us all on our toes! I am hoping maybe their being here will help to perk my mom's spirits up. Wishing you all a lovely day!

Good afternoon friends. Today I had WW meeting, no loss but that's to be expected as I have had a bad cold and not increasing my activity. Today's topic was sleep, something we all have issues with from time to time. I made my car inspection appointment for next week, had blood work done and went to the library. Pot roast is in the crock pot. Whew! It sounds like everyone is busy! Joyce, are your grandchildren on a year round school schedule? Peg, I have confidence that your hair dresser will be able to help you adjust to the new texture with the right cut and products. Maryenne, sounds like you had a restless night. I hope you can rest today. Janice, I make my weekly food plan and shopping list at the same time to increase the likelihood of being prepared for the meals all week. Most of the time it works! LOL Waving to all! Have a great day. Lynn
