Good morning everyone,
It's cool in our house in the mornings - but just not cool enough to turn the heat on. The highs will be in the 80s still.
I am meeting two dear old friends for an early dinner at 4 at a local restaurant. The three of us worked together back in the mid-90s. One of them has stayed in the area and lives down at the coast. The other lives in Atlanta.
Happy Wednesday!

Hi all,
Your dinner sounds like a lot of fun Maryenne, enjoy!!
Michelynee, hope your DH will get to feeling better quickly.
Esther, I had to get a grabber when I had my hip replaced several years ago and we still use it for reaching things in awkward places. Have they mentioned a hip replacement at all?? I know I was only 58 when I had mine done but it made such a world of difference. Would you even consider it??
Joyce, hope your parents continue to have a good week.
Lynn, are you reading a good book now?? A friend gave me "We'll Always Have Paris" ... I'm enjoying it.
As for me today, our usual lunch group is meeting at a Chinese restaurant which is always good and very reasonably priced. I want to cook dinner this evening as I may not want to eat much of anything for about a week. I also have an appt this afternoon. We have a decking guy coming this afternoon to give us a quote to redeck our current one. This is t doesn't have to be done to sell our home BUT it is something that we want done....sell or not! House cleaniers are coming this morning....got to get moving.
If I post at all tomorrow I know it won't be until late afternoon.
Wishing everyone a great day!!
Peg

Good morning friends. Best wishes for successful surgery tomorrow Peg. Maryenne, we have not turned the heat on yet in RII, but we have used the wood stove a few times to take the chill off. My cousin went by the MA house and turned the heat on low yesterday. We are heading up there later today. Waiting to get my car back, it needed new brakes. Ugh! Esther I love my grabber! This reminds me to get one for MA. Peg, I am reading Illumination Night by Alice Hoffman right now. Just started it. It was one of her first novels. I just finished Home Again by Kristin Hannah. It was excellent! Maryenne, enjoy your early dinner. It's so nice to connect with former co-workers! Joyce, it is good to hear about your father's improvement. Michelynn, prayers for DH's health. Thinking of Joan. Miss her interaction. Heading out for a few errands and then back to wait for the car to. E done. Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning everyone!
Peg, good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. Hope both you and Maryenne enjoy your meals out with friends.
Lynn, have a good trip to MA. Did you finish all your remodeling project there?
Michelynn, how's your DH feeling this morning? I hope better.
Thanks Peg and Lynn for the idea about the grabber. I think I'll put that with my list of Christmas ideas for my dad. It's so hard to think of things to give him that he will actually use.
Waving hello to Esther, Joan, and all who follow.
