Hi again,
I feel so tired but I am sure my energy will be up as soon aa I get to the barn. WI this morning and down .8 so that is good. I am still up from my most recent lowest weight but Lukas should help me with my focus. I want to thank you all for being so supportive through this whole "event" in my life. Off to the barn!

Hi horse lovers I didn't get to go to the craft show yesterday. There was so much more work than I thought waiting for me at the center. I person is doing 2 caseloads, so I ended up taking on some of the work. Today I'm going to lunch with my dsil and her sister who I haven't seen in over 25 years! I guess there is a cute gift shop/sandwich shop in Puyallup where we are going. May be I'll get my missing the "craft show" crankiness out there lol. Horses are doing great, no riding in all this rain! A good friend bought a horse last weekend (a solid looking Buckskin QH gelding)and wants me to trailer over and ride next Sunday. I can't find the license tabs for the horse trailer! DH says he had them somewhere? They have a covered small arena and 28 miles of trails there. Tonight is Girls Night Out with the work girls. One of our health aides is retiring, sad she was having eye troubles before I retired and now she is blind. Not sure what the diagnoses is (Faye) I'll find out. HAGD everyone!

Good morning. Going for my mammogram today. Also have lunch with DM. good for you going for your mammogram I am so over due. Hope lunch was yummy. Tonight is Girls Night Out with the work girls. One of our health aides is retiring, sad she was having eye troubles before I retired and now she is blind. Sad about the blindness but I hope she enjoyed her night out. AMY-congrats!!! does Luka have a show name or do you get to pick that? Lukas has the name on his passport which is his registered breed name. "Lukas Statement". Since he was in Germany I can pick his name when I register him with USEF but it does complicate things when a horse is registered with different names, he is also probably micro chipped with that name so I am going to stick with "Lukas Statement". Then pack car & head out to set up this afternoon -then tomorrow & sunday -it's show time! [img class="smile" alt=" " Hope you have a very successful show!! AMY-congrats on buying Lukas. What changed your mind? I think I was wrong to turn down Lukas, I was doubting my ability to do the work needed to make him a nice hunter. He is not green but did jumpers all his life so it will be a new challenge. Now I look on it as a fun challenge. I also think I was not ready, still kind of in shock. I just feel very fortunate he did not sell. Got some disturbing news about the house sale, it was suppose to close on Oct 28th. Now not sure of the status. If it sells, I'll get my new kitchen remodel, if not........ Oh no, I hope it turns out well for you and you get your new kitchen. I hate the fit bit. wish I never got it Sorry you hate the fit bit. I have not been wearing mine lately. I go back and fourth on weather it motivates me or not. DS has a pretty good cold, so that of course is priority. May DS be feeling better soon! HAGD everyone! DUTCH-was it your DS that had the bad cold? hope he's better and no one got it. Yes, he's starting to feel a bit better. Nope, still need to print pictures to send off registration pictures. Last night I learned Ally seriously ripped her brand new rain sheet. Whee.. I don't think it can be mended. Guess where I'm going tonight! Dang it!

Good morning Saturday DUTCH-glad son is starting to feel better and hope the rest of you don't get it. Sorry about Ally's sheet, hope it can be mended. BARB-good luck at the show. BTW-how is Judy doing? do you stay in touch? how's her practice going? BETH-hope you and DH are rested up from the trip. how did your knee do? hope it feels better and you don't need surgery. AMY-so excited for you. enjoy ALLISON-any more projects? CATHY-glad you got new goggles that don't fog. enjoy your festival this weekend. hope Kitty has fun with her cat sitter. I'm sure they'll both be fine. enjoy!! let me know if harp players are there
got another harp gig for Dec so that makes 4 gigs in a 10 day period. that's it for me; anything else and I'll try to push it to Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's day. it's 3 libraries so I think that's enough.
windy here and gloomy and rainy. Friend coming Tomorrow to practice harp our ensemble show in NOv. and another friend in ensemble coming Tues after work to practice .
waving to all. HAGD (will check in with page and see what's doing)

Good afternoon. It looks like everyone is very busy today. I'm having a quiet day. This morning I made a double batch of homemade biscuits. I cooked about a third of them and froze the others. For lunch I made homemade potatoes au gratin. I did use skim milk and reduced fat cheese for my sauce on the potatoes. I haven't decided on supper yet. Something with fish though. Maybe a tuna fish casserole.
Faye-the acute pain in the knee is still gone but if I turn it certain ways or try to climb steps, I can feel the pain. My walking in the morning time is reduced in distance and time wise. I'm hoping to not need surgery so I'm trying very hard to watch what I do with it. 4 show in 10 days is a very busy time. At least it's all the same music.

That is a good number of shows. You don't want to do too many so it stays fun. I'm hoping to not need surgery so I'm trying very hard to watch what I do with it It takes a while to mend on your own but it sounds like you are being very smart about it. I don't think it can be mended. Guess where I'm going tonight! You might need to buy one right away but you may also want to look for a used one to have around for back up.

Hi Horse Lovers.
My world seems so much more "right" now that I have a horse. I have ordered a new girth. It is funny because even though he is one size up from Rueben in the girth he doesn't feel any bigger. I guess it is how it is arranged, LOL. The weather was super windy and damp today so I opted to go out to the barn tomorrow instead of today. I am hoping to ride outside if I can. Went to a workout class at the gym this morning. It was tough but I am glad I went anyway.

Hi all - quick stop in -I'm exhausted - show was over all a good one -yesterday was FANTASTIC - today -not so much -as is often the case in a 2 day show -but all things considered!
Faye - 4 shows -10 days -WOW -your fingers will be wiped when you are done - I still hear from Judy here & there - she seems busy -we never got another chance to get together -may have to wait until holidays are over -I did send her a link to here -but.....
Amy -I like that name -a horse w/ a passport - pretty fancy! You will do fine with him!
Libby - hope it works out with the house!
Beth -I love biscuits -with honey? learned that when I lived in Atlanta many years ago!
Dutch -do you have to order sheets on line or is there a tack shop near -don't you just hate that?
Cathy-glad you are getting some more swimming in -jealous of that kind of weather!
Off to put my feet up -waving to the gang- see you next week!

Hi All,
Barb- glad you did so well at the show, I guess you can buy glass again!
Rode Lukas out of the ring today. We did not go too far but he was very good so we will do more next time.
I braided his mane over to the right side since it wants to fall to the left. He shook his head a lot so doing show braids in the future might be a challenge. He also may just need to get used to me fussing over him.
Hi to all, it is getting late.
Good Night,
Amy
