Good morning all and Happy Friday!
Well I am sorry to report that I didn't hit 2500 steps yesterday. I spent too much time sitting at my craft table working on mittens for the wreath snowmen. I should get all of them finished up easily today and then I think it will be time to start actually assembling. It would be wonderful to have them all done by Halloween. I think that should be a reasonable deadline and it is probably time to start an occasional trip to Hobby Lobby for a couple more small wreaths, and wire.
Brrrrr....our high is to be only 55 today and they are calling for light frost tonight.....Brrrr.
Maryenne, hope your trip to Tampa went fine and that you are ready to head to Buffalo....fun!! If you like Frank Lloyd Wright architecture there is one of his homes there. Really neat!
Wishing everyone a great day with some fun! May the sun shine on your parade!!
Peg

Good morning - finally got to bed at 11 after my long day and drive home. I have a load of laundry washing. DH is still asleep but he'll be up soon. He did all the trip-prep while I was gone - he even got my car from work and cleaned it inside and out. So we don't have too much to do this morning. Today we'll drive as far as Chattanooga.
Hope you all have a great Friday!
Maryenne
(We must have started our threads at the same time. Here's what I posted. I'm going to see if I can delete mine.)

Good morning!
Maryenne, safe travels for you. Hope you have a wonderful trip! I know you're only stopping for the night in Chattanooga, but if you should find yourself with any extra time there on the way back, they have a wonderful aquarium you might enjoy. In fact, there's quite a lot to do in Chattanooga.
Peg, I'm sure the snowmen will be really cute. It's great that you have a craft room where you can spread out and work on them.
Our weather has really changed with highs today only in the low 60s, and predictions for lows in the upper 30s tonight.
Today is DH's birthday. We don't have much of a celebration planned, but he and I will try to get out together for awhile this afternoon.
Have a lovely day everyone!

Good afternoon friends. We have a day trip to Cape Cod to pick up cranberry wine for Thanksgiving. It's a bit overcast with scattered light showers. I brought my camera since the fall out here is spectacular in a different way than the traditional foliage season associated with New England. The salt marshes and National Seashore have a unique beauty. Safe travels Maryenne! Peg, don't push yourself with the steps! Your snowmen are so cute! Joyce, happy birthday to your DH. Hope you have a nice, quiet celebration. Hoping to hear good news from Michelynn about her DH. Have a great day, Lynn

DH has a nurse and a PT doing home visits now. He's clearly getting stronger. I was happy to get him out of the house to an OLLI (Osher Live Long Learning) class at OU ... a fascinating series on money & politics ... speakers are elected officials, diplomats, etc -- today we heard from two law professors about election laws, free speech, etc. ... very lively discussions. He's also signed up for a Sci-Fi literature class that he's not been able to attend ... and one of the OLLI people brought him the handouts
