Good morning! We made it to Chattanooga later than we expected because of the I-75 traffic. Had a good night's sleep. I am ready to it to hit the road, but DH is nowhere near ready. He just isn't a morning person. We will get out by checkout time a 11.  Looking forward to seeing the Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio countryside aswe drive to Cincinnati today. |

Michelynn, so glad your DH is doing better and able to get out to do the things you both enjoy. Take care of yourself.
Maryenne, enjoy your trip and drive today. Hope you have sunshine to make the fall colors more vibrant.
Lynn, too bad we can't all come to your house to sample the cranberry wine. It sounds very interesting.
Joyce, hope your DH enjoyed his birthday yesterday.
Esther, Janice (Smith), and Joan hope everything is going fine in your worlds.
As for me, I need a couple more hours to finish the mittens and then I will be able to start assembling. I printed a coupon for Hobby Lobby yesterday and realized they have the wreaths I need on sale so I will be making a trip there today as well as stopping at Christopher and Banks. C & B has everything in the store at 40% off today.
As a quick post transplant note, 8 months out, my hair is finally getting to a more manageable length....HURRAY! I am starting to look more like me and less like my dear mom. I love her a ton, she passed 13 years ago, but I prefer my own look. She would laugh at me as she was a beautician.

Good evening alll.
BFF and I went to the local hospital's women's wellness day today. We had a great time and she won a raffle prize, a local wine tour, tasting and a gift certificate for the best chocolate store in RI!

Perfect fall day in Kansas. Went to the Mother Earth NewsFair this morning. Lots of interesting vendors and concurrent sessions on a variety of topics. Walking around and less than comfortable chairs wore me out and flared up back pain so a late afternoon nap took care of that.
Short work week this upcoming week. Taking Thursday and Friday as vacation days. Thiusday a friend and I are going on a road trip to several small town quilt shops. I surely don't need any fabric but it is fun to look. And a little road trip is always welcome.
