Over 60 & Still Workng/Monday

Good morning dear friends,

Wow!!  I hit 2500+ steps yesterday so my new goal is now 3000.  I am feeling tons better and even enjoyed a couple very small pieces of pizza last night - yum!!

Today I am going to work on the snowmen and run a couple of errands, including Sam's Club.  DH will probably work outside today so I will probably volunteer to help too.  I still can't lift anything over 20 lbs for another week.

Maryenne, hope you made it to Buffalo yesterday.

Good morning all.
Today I am getting together with my sister for a while. I have a few errands, library returns and pick up, pharmacy pick up and possibly a run to the crafts store.
It's starting off rainy today but it's supposed to clear up in a little while.
Peg, nice job on increasing the steps!
We had a family birthday party yesterday for the October honorees, DH, DD1 and DGGD. Lots of fun, good food that I was able to enjoy in moderation. We will probably do something for the winter birthdays in January.
The biggest reaction yesterday was when I announced that I had made the potato salad. I have not made it from scratch in years since the deli in our local market makes an awesome chive and dill potato salad. I guess I channeled my inner chef this weekend!

It's a beautiful day here, but nothing special going on. I am doing laundry this morning. This afternoon is packed with physical therapists coming for both my mom and dad. Actually, the lady is coming to get my mom re-certified, and my dad is his regular visit.
