Good morning ladies,
Lynn, your pumpkin meatloaf sounds really good, very interesting.
Janice, enjoy your days off. Do you normally work a 40 hour week?? Enjoy your quilt store shopping.
Joyce, so glad your household is having a more peaceful time. Hopefully it will continue through the rapidly approaching holiday season.
Esther, wow, the end of your work tunnel is really within sight. As the group has said before, you are so active with your music, various instruments, and therapy dog, the transition to full retirement should be pretty easy. You mentioned a class that you are starting, what is it??
Michelynn, sure hope your DH continues to get stronger. Have you made it to a spin class lately??
Maryenne, you have got to be having a great time. Would you ever consider moving to Buffalo or at least closer??
As for me, we had a great time driving back home yesterday. We were on an interstate for a short while then drove on state highways through a town where I spent my first two teaching/post college years. Then over to a quaint town with lots of shops and had lunch in a really old restaurant that had been featured on tv. Drove on by a couple of state parks, through a couple of university towns and back home around 5. We hadn't been in several areas for a very long time, kind of like a trip down memory lane.....lots of fun and the weather was great.
Lynn, you asked about our decision to downsize. Yes, we are moving ahead with preparations to do just that. The hardest part is trying to find a new location. There are a couple of possibilities but none that we can say YES this will be perfect yet. Our thoughts are to have the house all spruced up and on the market by April 1. We don't have a lot to do, mostly paint.
Today I need to run some errands and I want to look at Hobby Lobby. Tonight we are meeting friends for dinner.
What is everyone up to today??
Peg
