Good morning all,
Michelynn and Maryenne, so glad to read that you are both having an awesome week.
i didn't really accomplish much of anything yesterday but I did walk at Hobby Lobby but didn't find what I was looking for. I want to checkout pillows at BB&B, maybe today. DH is trying to install some under counter lights for the kitchen, I don't really know why, and of course it didn't work right the first time so the kitchen is all torn up, stuff all over the counters and island.......grrrrr
No real plans for today, what is everyone up to today?? This weekend?

Good Morning to All
Yesterday morning started with very dense fog but it burned off and was a perfect fall day. Friend and I went on a little road trip - mostly to go to a couple quilt shops. I didn't buy any fabric. I have done some quilting over the years but none this year although I enjoy going to the shops. The best store we visited was not a quilt shop but an old fashioned variety store. It is a family owned business and I guess it has not changed much since it opened years ago. Fun merchandise.
Today I need to concentrate on some home chores that have really been neglected this year - too many health issues. I do work 40 - 45 hours a week so it will be nice to be home all day today. I do have a repair person coming this afternoon.
Have a nice Friday and weekend.

Good morning all
I am going to a Renaissance flute workshop this morning. We had some music in advance so I was able to listen to it on Youtube and see how others are playing it. I am enjoying this group a lot.
I started my class on Zionism yesterday. I have the textbook on a Kindle and I downloaded a notepad app to take notes on in class. I am really entering the 21st century. My grandchildren will be proud of me.
We are having pouring rain today, a nice change from the long drought we had this summer. Maybe I can get some grass to grow in the back yard.
Janice - I love old fashioned variety stores. They are lots of fun to poke around.
Have a great weekend.

Good morning! Sounds like everyone is busy with fall activities. It has been cold here and yesterday we even had a snowy-rain. But we're getting out and enjoying ourselves a lot. Today is a "free" day. Both DS and his SO are working. We will do some laundry and maybe go out later today.
We're going to start our long drive home on Sunday. I've made reservations for just past Cincinnati for the first night and just past Chattanooga the second night. Looking forward to seeing my girls!

Not sure what today will hold here. DIL just called from the ER with step-son #2. They are the ones with the 7 month old. When DS #2 got up this morning he had some numbness with fingers on right hand, headache for a couple of days, and the right side of his mouth was drooping yet he went to work anyway! His symptoms worsened, and his boss took him to the ER. They do not think it was a stroke. Praise the Lord!! They are running lots of tests, but thus far think it most likely is Bells Palsy. DH is out of town, so I've called him to let him know. DDIL will keep us posted, so hoping that it is not anything more serious than the Bells Palsy, and that that will clear up without leaving any lasting damage. I need to do some online research to learn more about Bells Palsy.

Good afternoon friends. Joyce, prayers going out for stepson! Hopefully this is nothing that will have long-lasting effects. Just as things were settling into routine for you. Virtual hugs to you. Maryenne, I have never been to Buffalo, it is someplace I would like to visit. Michelynn, I hope things continue to improve for DH. Esther, my children all play a musical instrument- guitar, flute, drums. Their music has been a source of joy throughout their lives. How nice it is that you are still learning and playing! Janice, I love old fashioned country stores! My father was the head of security at Vermont Country store for a few years. Peg, my project for today is to finish the puppy costume for DGGD. I love the sticky back felt! DH and I went out for breakfast this morning while waiting for the car to be serviced. Nice change of routine for us. Last night's pumpkin and harvest fest was cancelled due to rain. Have a good day! Lynn
