I did appreciate all of the Jasons in the story. With the exception of Jason2, they were all offshoots of Jason Prime; they were all the same person, but at some point had begun to have different experiences that shaped how they behaved. Some were able to put Daniela's wishes ahead of their own, some were desperate to impose their wants on her and Charlie, some were violent murderers, and some were driven to insanity.
I found it interesting to contemplate how all of those possibilities resided within one person and that the differing circumstances brought the character traits to the surface.
What does that say about me and what I am capable of, both good and bad?

Need time to think about all this.
Be back later to talk ad nauseum about this.

Day One (I am going to answer all of your questions, but maybe one day at a time!)
I loved this book. Since I devoured it from the first page it was easy-peasy for me to slip-slide past the quantum physics jibber-jabber. I was so afraid his wife was going to fall head-over-heels with Jason2 because he must have been some kind of something between the sheets. Some of the things locked me up, like the million-and-one Jasons, but I think most of them were quite decent with just a smattering of a murderous nature.
I like Sci-Fi and I liked the play of first romance vs. years-long relationships. The cyber-space exchanges and Jason's walking into the gun shop after some of his other Jasons was masterful.
But then, once I got hold of this little tome, I was in for the whole enchilada.

I liked Jason One best because he was Daniela and Charlie's Jason. I thought Jason2 was conniving and least likable, although he did give them another chance, and then Jason 1 had Charlie pick the place.
This means there will be 5 million and one Charlies! Hope none of them find themselves back to the original three.
I didn't think either of them was really cheating, especially Daniella, who had no idea what was happening and only started thinking that things were not computing - I guess this is what great sex will get you. Charlie, though, he knew Jason2 was NOT his father. And I think this is another reason I really did not care for Jason2 - he was not going to be a father to Charlie and at the time was all about Daniela, which I think would have waned. I have a feeling Jason 2 would have been back to the box and finding another Daniela. I bet he had already done that VERY THING. Many times.

This branching off of Jasons was a no-go for me because I could not make sense of it, but I enjoyed the online discussions with Jason 3, Jason 7 and then Jason 109 (this made me laugh uproariously). What I could make sense of was separate realities of Jason but only 1 life-path per Jason, not a splitting of life-paths within each Jason (this is crazy math).
Here is another reason I liked Jason 1 the best - he was tempted to do the same thing Jason 2 did and decided against it. The path Jason 2 took turned him into a person with no feelings of guilt over terrible actions. Which brings us to - the choices we make determine who we end up being and the choices of the people around us help us make these incredible life-changing choices.
I love how this was so intricately woven into the fabric of this book.
