Good morning! We're just south of Cincinnati in Florence, KY. Rained most of our drive yesterday. We're taking our time this morning, will get breakfast in the lobby and get on the road by 11.
Happy Monday!

Hi all,
Maryenne, hope you have a dry today for your travels. Enjoy!!
Well one of our early voting places was open yesterday so I went ..... line would have been over an hour so I decided not to wait.....will try again this afternoon.
We did go out for lunch yesterday and then hit Target. I did get a new phone, an android but it at least brings me into the 2010's. We are going to add it to DH's Consumer Cellular account instead of using a GO phone plan. With both of our kids living out of state all of the text messages were costing too much.
I've got the laundry going. I've really been using the delay start option so I can set a load to finish up about the time I get out of bed. I really allows me to get everything under control quicker. Love it!!
I know we will be getting our deck paint today so we might just get going on that this afternoon.....DH is still sleeping this morning. Beyond that I don't really know what the day will bring.
Waving to everyone! Joyce, glad to see that your DSS will be fine. Bell's Palsey is just a weird illness.
Peg

Good morning and Happy Halloween! Wishing safe travels for Maryenne and her DH. Do you come down I-65? If so, wave when you pass the Vietnam Vets exit. I bet you may be on I-24, however, which would bypass me. Nothing exciting going on here. We closed on the latest rental property this morning, and DH left immediately to go out of town to begin getting it prepared for rental. Not sure how long he will be gone, but I'm expecting most of the week. Have a lovely day!

Safe travels, Maryenne.
Peg - I had no heard of delayed start. That sounds like a great idea. My washing machine is 30 years old so it does not have all the new gadgets. But is is very reliable so I will keep it as long as it works well.
I have 2 more clients to finish before I can retire. I am still missing information from both of them so I will not be able to finish by this month. I will be glad when this is over anf I can concentrate on other things.
Have a good Monday all.

Good afternoon friends. We worked outside earlier today, DH mowed the lawn for the last time before winter and I cleaned up the last of the garden beds. I went out looking for a few bargains at the soon to be closed K-Mart. None to be found, things have been picked over pretty good. The nearest stores are thirty miles away. The town is full of small expensive specialty shops but no where for a person to buy shower curtains or thread, which is what I was looking for. I found my mother's sewing kit so I was able to hem a pair of curtains this afternoon. I will get a new shower curtain back in RI. I am not much of an on-line shopper, I like to see and feel the items in person! Peg, how is the deck painting coming along? Safe travels Maryenne. Esther, I know you are looking forward to retiring, it sounds like your last two clients are reluctant to let you do so! Joyce, continued good wishes for your stepson's recovery. Have a good evening all. Lynn
