Good morning ladies,
We worked outside in the morning yesterday but then the rain stopped us in the afternoon. We had a rusty deck dining set and it found a new home with people that are willing to sand, sand, and sand some more followed by some spray painting. We did receive info about lots for sale from our real estate agent so we now need to do some serious looking.
For today we have a man coming to look at our broken tiles to see what needs to be done to replace them then we both have errands to run. Pork chops for dinner tonight.
Wishing everyone a great day. Our sun is supposed to shine by afternoon ☁️ 🙈🌞. Hurray!!

Good morning all and thanks Peg! We stayed up until 3 a.m. watching episodes of Longmire. It's that addictive and ends every episode with a major cliffhanger that forces you to watch "just one more and that's it."
I'm so glad I signed out of work for the whole week. Today we're going to vote, to the bank, and to the grocery store. Just a little taste of what retirement might be like. I'm beginning to think next fall might be my time. But I haven't spoken that out loud. I am planning a big statewide conference next August and after that...who knows?

Good morning friends.
I have had a very productive morning. Five loads of laundry completed. Bills paid. Enrolled in my Medicare Advantage plan. Now I am off to the bank and to get a manicure. Tonight we are going to a production of The Ling and I in Providence. The reviews have been outstanding, I am looking forward to it. I did a major purge of paper yesterday and today. What a difference!
Peg, the lot hunting will be fun!
Maryenne, you will know when it's time to retire. I thought about it for a year before I put in my request. Now I am settling into the lifestyle!
Esther, I am glad your last two clients came through!

Last night the wise choir director asked me to play my flute in a trio (2 flutes and 1 oboe) for a Christmas piece we're doing. I think it has been sixteen years since I took it out of the case.
