Over 60 and Still Working/Monday

Good morning and happy Monday!

DH and I were talking last night about how much we've been on the road during the past month. I was in Tampa for two days, after which we left immediately for our trip to Buffalo. A week after getting back, we had to drive almost to Atlanta to retrieve my car, and then he had to turn around and go to Orlando for his BIL's funeral. We are ready to be home for a while and the kitties are ready as well. I don't have any trips until Jan 7 when I go to Washington and then another trip to DC at the end of January. There also might be a trip to San Diego in February but I'm awaiting details on that.

But today -- just back to work and nothing on my calendar but catching up.

Good morning all,

Maryenne, has your job changed much if at all since your office was relocated??

We did FaceTime with the DGSs last night which was fun. Of course they acted crazy but we miss all of the craziness. Only 8 days till we travel to Omaha to see them and our DS will be there on Thanksgiving too. We are both sooooo ready!!

The eight snowmen wreaths are completely finished with six of them being given this Sunday then the other two will go to Omaha with us next week.

Today our lunch group is meeting again for probably the last time before Thanksgiving, today was the only day everyone was free this week. I am going to start setting up the Christmas Village by moving furniture and tables. All of the pieces are stored upstairs so I will be making probably ten trips up and down the stairs. I have a carrying bag with a flat bottom and handles which makes the trips easier and automatically limits the weight too.

Peg, my job has changed very little. I'm just in a different cubicle with a different boss. But same title, phone number, email address, and duties.

Good afternoon all.
DSIS and I went out this morning to pick up a few things I need to complete some gift baskets I am putting together for DD's church sale. We had a good time.
This afternoon I am putting the baskets together and tomorrow I will deliver them to DD. We will have lunch and catch up on her recent trip to Iceland.
I was exhausted after all my activity yesterday and slept quite well last night.
Tonight dinner is chili and vegetables.
I am going to finish packing for our New Hampshire trip. Have a great evening! Lynn
