Good morning everyone,
I did get the Christmas Village tables set up yesterday so I am ready for the cotton covering, lights and buildings. I am thinking is morning that this will probably be the last year the village gets built in this house. I use photos from the previous year to help guide me there the build. I think I may want to take jot down the deminsions to help next year assuming we move. We meet with a prospective builder and our real estate agent tomorrow morning.
I do go for a Zometa infusion late this morning.
Wishing everyone a sun filled Tuesday.
Peg

Good morning! I had to get to the lab early this morning for blood work so I could have my coffee. LOL
Peg, what is your new house going to be like?

Good morning!
I have been MIA for a week now. Last Monday afternoon my dad had a small heart attack--his third. Ambulance took him to our local hospital where they stabilized him overnight and then transferred him to the St Thomas Heart Institute on Tuesday where he was in ICU until Thursday when he went to a regular room in the Advanced Heart Failure unit. It was rough going for awhile, but yesterday he was released from the hospital to rehab. I don't think he will have to be in rehab long--just needs to build up some strength before coming home. My mom wouldn't leave the hospital, but the hospital operates a small inn on the premises. It's usually very hard to get a room there because there are so many families and so few rooms available for them, but God must have been watching out for us because we were able to have a room there each night. That was a tremendous blessing!
The rehab center is only about 4 miles from my house. It is where he went after the broken hip last December. Then he had a two month stay there, but this time I think the stay will be short.
Good to be back!

Hello everyone
Joyce - I am sorry about your dad's heart attack. I hope he feels better soon.
Peg - I hope your treatment goes well.
It is pouring rain here. I just walked the dog and we are both soaked. I am working hard on reading and practicing this week for school, two musical groups and the reprise of my bat mitzvah torah reading. I will be glad when things slow down next week.
Have a good night all.

Good evening friends. Joyce, I am sorry to hear about your father's recent health issues. Praying for all of you. Peg and Maryenne, thinking of you and your appointments today. Esther, what you said about your dog's being drained after the therapy visits is what I have heard from others. Dogs are so empathetic. They are truly humans best friends. I had a lovely lunch with my daughter and DD2 joined us for coffee. I delivered two soap baskets for DD's church sale. We leave tomorrow morning for New Hampshire for a few days. Have a great evening. Lynn
