Good morning!
I’m up early after some weird dreams last night. So I am enjoying a cup of coffee and hanging out with Joey, the cat.
I had a good check up at the cardiologist. He thinks the slow heart beat issues were due to the high calcium levels before the parathyroid surgery in September. The long bouts of them have stopped. My EKG is stable and shows nothing to be concerned about. He did suggest going off the fish oil supplement since it puts me at a higher risk for AFib because I have a PFO (little opening in the heart that we are all born with but closes up with most everyone after they are born). That is the cause of my heart murmur. I also have to make some life style changes. No deep sea diving or dead weight-lifting due to the PFO- and I have to start walking every day. And lose some weight. I feel like I’m half way there with no dead weights and no deep sea diving! I love this guy, he was very encouraging, good sense of humor and very kind. Walking outside is a challenge in the winter in New England when there’s snow and ice, but there are malls, indoor tracks and big box stores. I just need to get off my butt and start. Enough about me!
Sending wishes for a peaceful day for all. Lynn

Good morning! Lynn, glad you had a good heart doctor visit. Your doctor sounds like a good one having a sense of humor. He sounds caring and very competent. Having a good doctor that you can feel confidence in is very important. Sounds like we have opposite issues in your heart beating too slowly, and I take a medication to help mine slow down. Put us together and maybe it makes for a heart that beats at just the right speed. Maryenne and Esther, hope you are both off to a good day. Maryenne, I think Florida has had some colder than normal temperatures this year from what I've read, and Esther I know you must be getting anxious for winter to end. It's probably all in what you are used to, but I think I would have a hard time spending winters in the northeast. It is windy here. I can sometimes hear it blowing outside. Temperature is supposed to get up to upper 60s though. Then storms are coming in tomorrow and tomorrow night dropping the temperature back down so that Saturday we'll only have a high of 40. This is the time of year we are starting to yo-yo up and down. I have Cinderella chores today, and Nick will be with the maintenance man at one of the rentals all day. Yesterday we went out to lunch at Red Lobster, and I had to laugh as it was filled with "old" couples like us. I'm guessing that like Nick the husband doesn't drive at night anymore. Kind of nice to see though too. Afterwards we stopped at the Skechers outlet, and I got two pair of shoes. With their buy one then get one half price it seems a shame not to buy the second pair. Enjoy your day!

Hello friends,
I have been on the phone with John's beloved in Mexico City for the past two hours. She's a wonderful person and we had a great conversation. Nothing planned for this afternoon.
Lynn, glad you had a good cardiology visit. I love mine, too. I guess they've shifted me to seeing the PA but I like her, too. Did you ever do Walk Away the Pounds?
We didn't do anything for V Day but DH bought me a small flat of pansies.
Hugs to you all!
