What’s on your mind — how to make kugel? This week’s Torah reading? Life goals? Prayer? We are all engaged in weight loss/weight maintenance journeys and we are all Jewish or at least interested in Judaism. We like to eat, we like to discuss. It is our goal here to provide each other support on our journeys, to share experiences, to call on our rich cultural heritage and texts, and to help each other grow spiritually.

Good morning everybody. Hope you are all well and SAFE! Please pray for Israel. Re today's topic: gazelle18, I'll check back later to see what you post. Sorry I missed posting yesterday, but DS and I were very busy running errands and doing chores (nothing fascinating). It's supposed to snow a few inches here tonight, so I may have to go move the car into the garage. I'm tempted to just leave it on the driveway, as I feel very unenergetic. Have a peaceful day, Lee |

Back again. If I had to pick a two-word motto for us, I think I said this already, but I'd pick "Choose LOVE" (like Penzeys says).

Good morning! We had a wonderful dinner with Holly and her DH last night! So great to see them again! I hope someday I'll get a chance to meet all of you in person. :+)
It's about 6:30 right now, and I'm waiting for DH to get out of the shower so we can go to breakfast. DD35, one of my sisters & her husband and son all arrive today. The other sisters and my other BIL arrive tomorrow.
I should be able to post Sunday morning. Everyone have a wonderful weekend! Shabbat shalom!

Eat Challah
I don't know why those 2 words came to me. Maybe a desire for french toast.
Did I tell you my friend wrote a musical composition in memory of his wife (who was my college roommate) that died 2 years ago? It was performed last night. A string trio. Was lovely. The opening was Mourning, then A Life Lived, then Last Days. Could feel the angst. So glad I got to be there.

DH and I had a wonderful time last evening with Peachy and her crew. I hadn't seen her sons in more years than I can remember; I didn't recognize either of them. And the bride officially about to enter the family is terrific! GREAT personality. I'd welcome her into my family too.
I don't think I can come up with only a two-word wish, so here's wishing all of us (and our loved ones too) the best life has to offer.
