Good morning everyone,
Well, we finally decided what we're going to do for Thanksgiving - the two of us are going to Ted's Montana Grill. Turns out all the cousins have other plans. I am going to do some cooking over that long weekend though. We made a long grocery list last night and DH will do the shopping today.
I'm very much looking forward to the weekend and then the short week next week. Only vague plans so far - how about you?

HI all,
We don't have anything on our calendar for today, Hurray!! It has been a very busy week with lots of thinking about our future home plans. The furnace got checked yesterday along with an appraisal for a home equity loan that we might not need at all. The foundation guy was here and found no issues (thank goodness) with it so the flooring guy is coming Monday to look at our cracked tile to determine how to proceed with that.fix. I hope to get DH to get the grill off the deck and into the shed today before the rain comes and our temps drop into the 40's.
As for Thanksgiving our celebration starts this Sunday as we will be driving to a restaurant in the northern part of the state to have lunch with my extended family. There will be about 20 of us and my snowmen wreaths will be delivered so they can be enjoyed over the next month or so. Next Tuesday we drive to our DD's and will be with them then until Sunday afternoon when we will head back, splitting the drive up into two days. I am excited about seeing DD's family as well as DS who will be driving from Denver. We'll have Wed. to have adult conversation with DD while DGSs are at school and then spend time with DGSs, and DSIL. DS will arrive on T'giving afternoon and I am looking forward to having all of us together. His SO won't be able to join us as she has to work Friday. I know DGSs will be really excited to see their uncle so I don't figure we will have much adult conversation with DS.
I am hoping to get DH out to walk a couple of possible lots today and to go through one of the homes under construction again today too, prior to rain and temp drop.
Michelynn and Joan, missing your posts.
Waving to everyone 👋🏻

Today I have Renaissance flute group and a dance to play for tonight. It will be a busy day. Tomorrow is services and our book group. We are reading The City and the City by China Mieville. It won all sorts of science fiction and fantasy prizes. What an imagination!
I am going to have to get going on Thanksgiving preparations very soon.
Have a great weekend.

Good morning friends. Maryenne, Ted's Montana is one of my favorite restaurants. I was devastated when the one near us closed. Enjoy your dinner! Peg, you are so busy between planning the new house and traveling! It will be nice to have your family together for the holiday. We are driving out to the Mount Washington Hotel for lunch today. It was the scene of the Breton Woods monetary conference at the end of WW2. Gorgeous old hotel and phenomenal view of Mount Washington. Today is sunny and cool, perfect for a ride and perhaps some photo ops. Have a great day! Lynn
