Good morning everyone!
Lynn, wishing you safe travels back to RI.
Maryenne and Esther, hope you are both looking forward to a good day.
Hopefully today will mark the date of things starting to become more normal around here. Last week is a blur with so much going on, and getting the rental ready, the knee doctor, etc. Hopefully after today the rental will be ready for the market, I am now caught up on bookkeeping finally, and I can now breath a little easier. I'm getting more comfortable with the new laptop, but Windows 11 is so different from Windows 10 that there are still several things I need to learn there. Why did they have to go and mess with the file structure?!! 😒
Last week I was only able to unpack the bare necessities, but today I'm getting it all unpacked and put away. That alone will make me feel much more settled. My knee is bothering me a lot. I have the MRI scheduled for the 22nd, and then my guess is the doctor is going to order surgery. I had hoped to avoid that, but I'm thinking I'll just have to bite the bullet and get it done. At least it will be arthroscopic, so not too bad. If I need it and don't get it, then the doctor said I may be damaging the joint itself and will end up with having a total knee replacement. So I'll go with this meniscus surgery if after the MRI he says it's needed.
We're supposed to get rain today, but since I plan to spend the day working inside that's not a problem. Sorry if this post sounds like a complaint list. Actually I am very fortunate, and life is good. Just minor issues that can and will be resolved. I'm just longing to get settled into a normal daily routine.
Hope you each have a lovely day!

Joyce, I had meniscus surgery ten years ago. What a difference it made! I also had arthroscopic surgery. Good luck with it.

Hello,
Joyce, I'm sorry about your knee. Good luck with the MRI on the 22nd. Lynn, safe travels. Esther, hope you're having a good day.
I had a routine doctor appointment with the PCP NP and she added on a CT scan of my heart since I mentioned shortness of breath. It came back clear. The cardiologist is already aware of it and has changed my meds. This afternoon I'm tired and irritable so I'll leave it there for now. I've got some postcards to write to occupy myself.
Take care!
