Good morning!
I have a rare day of nothing to do and nowhere to be!
1kflute, thanks for asking about the mosquito bites. I've been miserable with them. I found some Aquafor with itch relief at CVS and it helps a little. I've also taken some over-the-counter antihistamine. I decided last night that we must have a mosquito in the house that keeps biting me. This time of year is awful here for biting flies, mosquitoes, ants, and ticks.
I think I'll do the NYT games and read....

It looks like it's going to be a lovely, sunny day here in the mid to upper 80s, but we had a stormy night with high wind and heavy rain. Thankfully no tornadoes here, but middle TN just south of Nashville was not so lucky.
I spent most of yesterday afternoon with my knee iced down, and I can tell that the ice definitely helped reduce some of the swelling which makes it easier to bend and makes it ache less so I'll use ice again today and probably everyday until I get the MRI. I also have an appointment this afternoon for a haircut which I badly need as I'm past due for one. The girl who does my hair's daughter is a senior in high school, and they had a lot of celebrations, recognition days at school, etc going on last week which she understandably wanted to attend so she took the whole week off with her daughter.
