Good morning!
Today should be the last day of the heat wave, temperatures should be lower tomorrow with some rain. We have a few errands to do today. DD1 is coming tomorrow for a weekend visit. We’ll go to the farm restaurant for dinner tomorrow night.
Sending wishes for a peaceful day. Lynn

Good morning!
Lynn, enjoy your DD's visit and I'm glad your heat wave will be ending. The heat is hard to deal with when you're not used to it.
Esther, I hope it's going to cool down soon for you as well. Putting ice packs in your bed was a very innovative idea.
Maryenne, how did the dermatology visit go?
It's going to be hot and sunny here, but that's typical. I have to meet with two tenants today to sign lease renewals. I wish I could have arranged to meet with them closer together, but I have to go with their schedules so one is this morning and one this afternoon. Also I had to call an AC repairman last night for a tenant. Turns out some sort of fan has gone out on the motor, so that is going to be a big bill. Had a chimney waterproofed on another one yesterday and that was $850. Oh, just got a call from the AC people. The bill for the fan is also going to be $850. Sounds like we've got a theme going on. Oh well, maybe it will settle back down soon. They're great when the money is coming in, but a pain you know where when there are issues. 🤣 Have a good day!

Good morning!
James told me that it's unbearably hot where they live. I'm glad I came back when I did because I think it's actually a little cooler here. They have a swimming place in a cold creek with a waterfall so they were on their way there when I talked to DS late afternoon.
I have a big fat bandage on my chest where they did the excision yesterday. It's kind of sore today. I can take the bandage off this evening, but can't take a shower until tomorrow. Go back next Wednesday to get the stitches out. I'm just going to be still today and read my Erik Larson book.
Hugs to you all and hopes for a relief from the heat!
