Good morning!
We had a lovely time at the bluegrass concert yesterday although it turned cold. We bundled up as best we could and ended up sitting in the car where we could hear the music very well.
Today is my only full day at work this week. I have a neurology appointment tomorrow at 11:15 and will be off after that for the rest of the week. Hoping to mine for Christmas stuff out in the shed while I'm off.
Happy Monday!

Hi all,
Maryenne, your week sounds good to me!!
Today will be a busy one for me. I have a blood draw this morning at 9 then I am stopping at BB&B to do some shopping. Our lunch group is meeting today then we need to pack for our trip. DH has an eye appt. this afternoon and we have a flooring guy coming at 4 to look at our broken tile. Laundry is already under control.

Good morning friends! We had snow flurries very briefly later night, but no accumulation. One of my friends from Massachusetts sent me a picture from his work, they are having a severe storm watch up there. It seems that there will be snow on the ground when we go up this weekend! It is cold and windy here. No snow in the forecast. It is not unheard of us to have snow for Thanksgiving. Peg, safe travels. It sounds like you are full steam ahead on selling your house and building a new one. Maryenne, a concert, even bundled up and sitting in the car sounds good to me. I love live music! Our NH trip was fun, we have booked the same place for next spring. Today I need to go to the post office and pick up accumulated mail. Then the grocery store and maybe Michael's if I have time. BFF is coming over this afternoon to make our dishes for tonight's cookbook book club meeting and potluck. Bourbon pecan brownies and peanut brittle drizzled with dark chocolate. Yum! Have a great day! Lynn

Good morning all
I am going shopping this afternoon for Thanksgiving dinner. My DD is coming to help me with it and she will come Thursday and help cook.
My brother also offered to help so he will be on cleanup and furniture moving detail.
This morning I need to find help for my ailing computer. My daughter's attempt to fix it has left it in worse shape than before. My Office program is going to go away unless I get it fixed before Friday and it no longer recognizes my password. I hope one of the local places will do it in the next few days so I don't have to buy it again.
I hope everyone is doing well with their Thanksgiving preparations.

Good morning everyone! It's cold here too -- 29*, but no snow and it will warm back up.
Once again I've had an eventful weekend, the on-call doctor for the weekend at rehab sent my dad to the ER yesterday afternoon because of his creatinine and BUN numbers climbing. After about 5 hours in the ER, they called the ambulance and sent him back over to rehab. They did give him a little fluid, but the rehab center/skilled nursing facility had done that on Friday night as well. The ER doctor said that as my dad has chronic kidney disease there was nothing they could do for him there, and he should follow-up with his nephrologist. So today I am contacting his regular doctor (who also happens to be the doctor for the facility he is in) to see if they follow through on contacting the nephrologist and sending lab reports, if I need to do that, or what the procedure is. My dad had also complained of not being able to get a deep breath and therefore not being able to sleep on Saturday night although his oxygen levels had looked pretty good, and he sleeps with oxygen. The ER did go ahead and do a chest x-ray which showed some fluid on his right lung. He is already on a diuretic, but they gave him additional Lasix through a shot into his vein and a prescription to add Lasix with the other fluid med. I feel so out of my depth, because I have no medical training and don't know if the on-call doctor (who is young and doesn't know my dad's history) just over reacted, or if this is something to be very concerned about, etc. Sometimes I feel like I'm just barely keeping my head above water.
But, on a positive note, I had a lovely visit on Sat with DD and family. Grandson went to a tennis camp until early afternoon, son-in-law watched football, and DD and DGD and I had a "girl's day" having lunch at a tea room and shopping at the annual Holiday Mart. Hope each of you will have a good day!
