Happy Black Friday everyone!
Just a quick note. DS will be leaving for Denver later this morning. It has been great to have everyone together. Needless to say lots of good food was devoured yesterday. We will go visit DH's cousin with prostate cancer this afternoon. Also we will stop at Jo-Ann Fabrics so I can get what is needed to fix a seam rip in a sofa cushion for DD.
That is it from Omaha today. Wishing everyone a beautiful sunny day!

Good morning friends. Food, family and friends sums up yesterday nicely. We will head up to MA later. No shopping for me today. I hate crowds!! Happiness Anniversary Maryenne! How was Ted's Montana? I miss that place so much! Enjoy the grandchildren Peg. I am also thankful for our little community here. I feel that I have gotten to know all of you over the last few years and have come to appreciate the support here. Have a wonderful day! Lynn

Good morning Peg and Lynn and all to come,
I too am very grateful to each of you for your caring and support
Peg, I'm glad you are having a good visit with your family. Lynn, I agree - no shopping!
We had a lovely dinner at Ted's. We got there at 3, thinking that it might be easier to get a table, but they told us the wait was about an hour and 20 minutes. They have a nice covered patio in the shade that no one was sitting in, so we sat there, had an adult beverage and pleasant conversation with two other couples. In the end, we decided to have our meal out there too. The weather was quite perfect - 75 degrees - and the food was delicious. I had the traditional Thanksgiving meal and DH had the bison meatloaf. It was a lot of food and I brought home enough for a sandwich. We stopped at CVS on the way home to pick up eggs - grateful they were open!
Nothing planned today. DH is prepping breakfast and I'm hoping he'll help me clean the front porch so we can put our big tree out there.
Hugs to Joyce, Esther, Joan, Janice, and Michelynn!

Good morning! Count me in as being very grateful for this group and for the friendship I have with each of you. Hope you each had a lovely Thanksgiving however you celebrated. Ours was quiet, but that can be a good thing. DH and I went to see the new Brad Pitt movie Allied about spies in World War II. It was good. No Black Friday shopping here either. It's just not worth it to me to get out in the crowds and traffic. DD on the other hand usually loves it. I'll wait and do some shopping during the week when others are at work. I do most of my shopping now online anyway--thankful for Amazon! Have a lovely day everyone!
