Good morning Thursday.
DH is going to the dentist to get his permanent crown today. I'm still working on the order and hope to have it finished by tomorrow.
Dutch-I hope you are healing fast.

BETH-glad it's a better day today.
DUTCH-glad all went well. rest up.
BARB-we had flurries and now rain and gray and gloomy. ran my errands and now home. Stay safe.
CATHY-how's the picture for your brother going? my friend loves to do art too and she just did a landscape and I looked at trees and thought of you. Trees look hard to do.
LIBBY-how are you and DH doing? think you'll be able to go Saturday? take care. and news from Heidi and watching the horses?

good morning -Dutch glad surgery went well- I always say - better medicine thru drugs~!
Getting ready fro 6+ " of snow -will head over & clean & set up lunch -lots of hay- I signed on with a new vet this morning - 
off for now - HAGD- TTFN Dang!! 6"!!! We'd die here!! Hang in there! |

Dutch- funny! Got all cleaned -tons of hay placed -all before the snow started. Worked a bit in the studio- have 2 pieces in the kiln, 3 more set up to go when the kiln is ready. I'm bored -either bake cookies (which i don't need to eat) or watch Blue Blood reruns!

I just spent about 1 hour resetting a password, reconnecting to the internet because we needed a new router and I got a bogus email I clicked on. I think I spend half my life changing passwords and the other half not remembering what i changed them to

I've been working om patterns all morning so far. Still have a ways to go.
FWIW I put all my passwords in an address book and when I need to change them I can see what I used before I make a new one then mark out the old one (or use white out).

For work, I have 2 8x11 sheets of passwords... not including personal ones. All different rules all force change at different times. No way a person can recall them all!

BETH-hope all went well with DH permanent crown. DUTCH-problem was last week the router / modem died so had to change it and then had to reconnect everything then yesterday the cellular went down and couldn't figure what occured so was on with Verizon who fixed it (there was fire in a neighboring town and I think it affected the towers) so that was annoying and then I updated the computers so that's another time waster. wow. you do IT--hats off to you! Feel better. Rest up. don't push it. (end of public service announcement  BARB-how's the snow LIBBY-how is DH? CATHY-how's the car shopping going? 6:30 update- the 1" of snow is now icy stuff as it has been raining hard for the past 2 hours! Weathermen still saying 6+" over night? to be continued! Good night all

Hi, all...late post for me. Faye, bummer about the router. Comcast told me I could update the password but it wouldn't let me...it's like 20 digits of letters and numbers. Bleh... Barb, be careful of the weather, sounds icy! Beth, glad you are able to work even with the knee issues. Dutch, so glad your sx went well. As Faye, says, take it easy! Hi to Amy and Libby! Yes, all day at the car dealership. It wasn't bad, mostly just driving to and fro was the time waster. I FEEL like they gave me a good deal so I came away un-sweaty (I get sweaty when anxious, so if no anxiety, must be a good deal!!). Worst part was waiting on the paperwork. They only have 2 people working and they share with BMW so lots of car sales today. Decided to lease, will see how I feel about the car in 3 years Faye, it's TOTALLY bigger, won't have to flip down 3 seats just to put in the harp. I think it will fit just fine Totally tired, so will make an early dinner and crash. Cat peed in my bed last night so will stay up long enough to finish laundry. Taking the grandmas and my niece to lunch tomorrow (this would be my mom and my ex-SILs mom, who I never get to see anymore). Cathy |

Hi All!
WW meeting this morning and I asked them not to tell me my weight. I know my clothes are snug. I tracked my breakfast and am heading to the gym soon so hopefully I can get back on track for real this time. I would like 2017 to be the year I reach goal and go on maintenance.
My DD1 did a great job riding Lukas! It was actually her first ride on him and she loves him. I did not get a new computer for Christmas because my DH got this one functional again for me. I asked for the new bridle instead. I also got a new cell phone. I don't replace mine often so the deal was amazing.
Got to get to the gym for a Zumba class.

Good morning.
I've been working on this order all day yesterday and will finish it up late this afternoon so I can mail it tomorrow. It is a big order of 6 different dog patterns and some of the dogs come in different colors such as the American Cocker Spaniel has 4 different colors. this customer is a repeat customer and a vendor herself and often will send me stuff such as clothes or totes to embroider for her. This time she sent me caps, umbrellas and towels. She's getting the cozies and insulated lunch bags from me as I had some left over from closing the business.
DH got his crown in just fine.
Amy-glad your DH was able to get your computer running again. Sounds like you might have to get another horse if DD loves riding Lukas so much lol.
Cathy-bummer about cat peeing on bed. One of mine is taking her mid morning beauty nap on the bed right now. When she wants to go outside she usually will walk to the door and start meowing. Do tell us what kind of car you got and what color. specifics please.
Dutch-how are you feeling post surgery?
Barb-did you get the glass product finished?
Libby-how is DH feeling. Are you going to be able to go to AZ?
Faye-so you kind of have to go get gigs yourself like Barb and I have/had to?

Hi again,
Zumba class was fine, it got me moving, not my favorite but if I take the choreography more as "suggestions" it takes the pressure off. I just keep moving.
Barb- we are headed into the tough months with horses and I am spoiled with an indoor and full care board but I feel for you. It is still sooo cold and everything takes a lot more care...frozen buckets etc. If we can get through the next 8 weeks, things will improve again. Horses are a passion and that's what keeps us going through the tough months.
Faye- you and I can do this right? We just need that little extra motivation and accountability. The new program for WW is a lot of "beyond the scale" stuff and that is what I really need. It is a mental game for me. I pretty much know what I should eat and that I should track food and move. It is just getting myself to do it that is the hard part.
Cathy- I just this minute put a request in to join the Meetup hiking group. I don't know if they will accept me. We will see. Thanks for the idea though. Sorry kitty wet your bed. there is a meet up walking group but I am more interested in hiking.
Libby, how do you like the sky lights? Hope all the family is in better health for the New Year.
Beth- I hope you get a good plan for your knee pain. It is amazing to me how many different breeds of dogs there are since I am not in the dog show world.
Dutch- glad the surgery went well. Where is Ally these days? I know you were talking about boarding her for a little while.

Hi horse lovers, Cathy; very cool about the new car! what color, make, style? Sorry about kitty! Faye; hope you got the computer figured out! Amy; nice that dd1 likes your horse! my dd doesn't like Rosie at all, she won't even ride her lol Beth; you have been busy! glad dh's tooth went well! few more days till your knee appointment! The resort we are staying at in AZ has a huge sewing room, I can't wait to see it Barb; how much snow did you get? Dutchwife; how are you feeling? I'm glad I'm off to AZ, as work was trying to pull me in and I was like, I'll be back on the 11th if you need anything! They are having a big event on the 10th they asked me to be at and facilitate! The new windows go in today my new kitchen window is huge, compared to the small one I had! I look right out into the barn area. The sheet rockers keep having other jobs and emergencies! They say they are coming at noon today to finish-pray they will! I just taped up pictures of the finished kitchen up all over the old kitchen area (that will be phase 2) so I can deal with the mess! They found another stolen vehicle on the vacant land behind my pasture yesterday. Police were parked across the street most of the evening/night yesterday, they are trying to catch whoever is stealing the cars. This is the second one since the abatement. It's not as quite back there as I had hoped! Finishing up some work this morning, kitty is limping really bad! bringing him to the vet this afternoon, meeting dd at noon she is going to dog sit Rickys service dog, Cookie while we are gone. Dakota is going with us. Haven't heard the plan yet of who is subbing for Heidi while I'm gone-causing me some stress as it is going to be really cold and I'm worried about the water freezing up. I bought some water containers 6 gallon, and I'm going to fill them up and have them in the basement in case the water freezes to the barn, which it will with the 18 degree forecast! HAGD everyone! |

LIBBY-glad you are able to get away. hope kitty is ok. terrible about the stolen cars. hope the police find out what is going on and can stop it.
AMY-yes, it works when I do it, it's my stamina to keep it up. I'm sort of motivated. I just do on line so not sure I'll get to see what they have planned. But my resolution is to track. Exercise is not the issue for me.
BETH-good luck finishing. glad you can use some of your remaining stock and clear it out.
CATHY-best of luck with your new car.
BARB-how much snow?

HI all - so we got about 5" on top of 2hours of heavy rain -so this morning it was not pretty -DH snow blows the drive - I do the deck & it was wet, heavy & icy. Once I got it shoveled it melted so the deck will be safe! Cathy -what kind of car did you get? We leased our 2 cars this time for the first time ever -we always kept our cars forever but decided to go this route -on mine since we traded in our 2007 we got a good deal -my lease is less than my cable bill(!) DH's car was a 2003 with 54K miles (yes) but we didn't get as much for it but still kept the payments just about the cable bill! We also got some goodies since I know the owners -2 yr paint/upholstery & 2 yr tire/wheel warranty
Amy - yes -this time of year i fondly remember my full board/indoor/showing days - but to be honest for what I do with Penny -this is ok -our water is heated (I will NeVER chop ice buckets again!) so I just go with the flow Nice that DD got a good ride on Lukas -I always found it was interesting watching someone else ride my horse to see that they do.
Beth - sorry about your knee -hope the dr apt next week brings some relief.
Faye- have fun w DD -

Hi again,
back from riding Lukas. He was a bit of a bad boy today, glad my lesson is tomorrow LOL.
DD1 has a lot of dressage training so that is what she did with Lukas. She does jump too and took him over a few small jumps but dressage is really what she likes. I wish she could ride him more but with work and teaching dance she is super busy.
Going to a Hershey Bears hockey game tonight because someone gave us tickets. I am not a big follower of the sport but I enjoy watching when I am there. Going out to dinner first with friends so I better go knock the barn stink off of me.

Hi, all! Faye, have fun with DD. Another rehearsal tonight! Beth, glad you're moving along with the work request...or did you get done today? The cat pees because she sleeps so deep with her limited hearing, she forgets to get up and use a litter box. It's not a "I hate you" kinda peeing Barb, yeesh...wet, icy snow. I thank you, but I'll take CA! Amy, have fun at the game tonight. Yes, too bad DD1 can't ride Lukas more, but what are you going to do Dutch, glad feeling in your fingers is coming back. Did I miss what you had? Sounds like hand sx...I'm a pro at that! LIbby, so glad that you are going to AZ and that you are leaving work behind! I hope the kitty is OK...any ideas on what the issue is? It's annoying that stolen cars are still appearing in the yard behind you! The car is a white body/black top Mini Countryman. They are 4/door hatchback, and much more cargo space than my hardtop (harp goes for it's first ride tonight). I took it over and drove everyone to lunch today (which was nice, but I'm all tired again). It got nice reviews So tired...not sure why. Maybe not eating well enough, too much going on (as opposed to sitting in front of a computer all day). I took 1/2 Xanax last night just to try and sleep some, but got up around 6am, didn't think I'd get back to sleep. Just feel out-of-whack. I've really enjoyed the week off, maybe too much? Have grocery shopping tomorrow and New Year's party (low-key) at a local friends house so no serious driving. Maybe I'll just lay around all day tomorrow...the cat would like that Cathy |
