Join in if you are someone who loves, owns, has owned, leases, rides, or just likes to watch these magnificent animals! We love to share stories and talk about the critters that keep us on our toes and in the saddle while on this weight loss journey. If you don't see this thread, please feel free to start it. Good morning. I'm up early today. I have a lot to do this morning and may not be able to post until later this afternoon.
Today starts Community Bible Study and we're studying the book of Isaiah. After that I'm taking the other embroidery machine in to get serviced as it's the only one I have now and I need it to work properly for the 9 day show in Sept. While I'm in town I will also get some other errands run.

Didn't ride yesterday, just groomed, cut bridle paths, cleaned hoofs on both horses, then let them out to eat what little green grass is left around the front of the barn. Sat outside and watched them graze. Nice warm evening about 75 degrees with a little wind. I was going to ride, the arena sand is so dry, I would have had to set up the sprinkler for a while first, so got lazy and just sat Have dgd today, with lots of plans, she is not feeling well and is in my spare bedroom resting. I guess our plans are changed. I'm not working today, so I guess I'll go get some peaches and get ready to can them. I love my own canned peaches, not so much the store bought kind Wave to all posters! HAGD

Hi, all! Faye, have a good harp day. Teacher leaves in Nov/Dec so I have a couple of months yet. Not sure who will pick up the slack Beth, have a great errand day! Yeah, sewing is NOT easy for me either (I think Faye mentioned that as well). My mom is REALLY good at stuff, sewed all my nieces costumes for school, but me...I'm a hemmer...that's pretty much the limit of my capabilities. Barb, have fun at the theater! Libby, sorry DGD isn't feeling well, but canning peaches sounds like a good alternative. My ex-boss makes his own grape jam...yummy! Amy, hope the tracking is going well! Hi to Alison and Dutch! Swim was great yesterday...only 3 of us in the pool, had a lane to myself. I guess school started this week so folks are shifting things around. Works for me! Going to look at new frames for glasses...they had to order. Will walk there and then maybe walk to library for steps. I didn't like this optometrist so made an appointment with my old one for next year (farther to drive but worth it; will buy glasses locally). Faye, I didn't think I'd care so much but the new guy liked to hear himself talk and I can't be bothered with lectures...I'm too old for lectures Cathy

@charmedharp - shopping goes well. Need to contact owner of filly to go look. This board cracks me up. I come here to see about horses, but read about glass, harps, sewing... I love it! Nice diversity! HAGD!

Hi All,
Tracking is going well. I still feel the struggle a bit more then when I was in the grove but I feel I will get there. I think I am sleeping better because I have made some peace with things I have very little control over. I was getting so angry I couldn't sleep but I am trying to let it go and focus on the parts of my life that are going well.
Horse News- Had a lesson with winter trainer today. It was a really good lesson and he gave me a lot to work on. My ego is in check. LOL My good friend who bought my first horse Gio is looking for another horse. She is not selling Gio though so that is good news for me because I know he is getting good care.
I have an idea I want to run by you all for this board. What do you think of starting one thread for the week instead of a new thread every day? That way you can scroll around and see peoples replies and catch up on yesterdays posts you didn't see without having to switch treads.
What do you think?
HAGD Amy
Heading out to a horse show soon to watch my summer trainer's niece compete. She is a very good Jr. rider, and I am hoping some interesting vendors will be there.

Amy the only problem I foresee with that is the thread can get to be 2-3 or more pages long so you still end up having to flip from page to page. I will abide by what the majority wants to do. Is your trainers niece at a multiple day show?
