I think this was explained in a post a while back, but I couldn't find the post. TIA

It's a random bit of code that gets added if you have the Pinterest button installed in your browser.

You can uninstall the Pinterest Pin-it button from your browser, or you can go into the BBCode tab when you reply/quote/edit a post and delete the bit that shows up at the very end, beginning with a left bracket and the word span, and ending with the word span and a right bracket.
It only seems to happen when you edit your post or quote someone in a new reply. New posts and threads don't seem to stick the Save on there.

That's weird. I wonder why it happens for some and not others? (I have the Pinterest button in my browser, but haven't seen the "save" on any of my posts. I'm using Chrome, if that makes a difference.)

It doesn't happen to me with Chrome, either, but I assumed that was because my Pinterest account is logged off (I almost never pin anything).

I think it may be browser specific. Alfa and I both use Firefox.
