Good morning all. It’s extremely mild here in NYC this morning but temps are going to drop like a rock today with rain ending as snow tonight and temps in the 20s! I’m taking a new spin instructor at lunch today. Let’s see how it goes. I got on the scale for the first time in awhile. I’m 8 lbs up from my wedding weight which is my goal. Frankly between impending menopause and me going back on the pill both for the regulation of my period and hormonal swings, I’m not surprised. My clothes feel fine so I’m not stressing the number on the scale. I’m trying to be extra good this week as I know I will gain during vacation. My body is actually different now since I’ve started the weights back in July as well. Would I like to get back to my wedding weight? Sure, but I’m at a point in my life where the number on the scale won’t define me. I still wear a size 8 or a medium and as long as that stays the same, I’m good. I will have some work to do after vacation though because I always come back 5-7 lbs up. Ok, that’s my morning confessional. Lol. Here goes:
Breakfast: Chobani vanilla yogurt
Snack: banana
Lunch: Amy’s light and lean spinach lasagna
Dinner: grilled chicken and riced cauliflower. I ended up having eggs last night.

Good Morning! Double commute times going home yesterday and again this morning. Some of the expressway I travel didn't even seem to be plowed, was just happy to get here and out of the elements. We got about 10 inches last night. I felt bad but DH had to snow blow at 5 this morning, hope the neighbors didn't mind. Don't think they should since he does most of their driveways also. Our VP is in today and we have meetings all day so it should make the day go by quickly. Was going to go to the gym later but I'm traveling tomorrow and Thursday and need to get a few things packed and also need to work on my presentation since I don't think I'll have time today. I'll be back on Friday! Hope you all have a great day!

L - cauliflower rice w/chicken, roasted mushrooms and light alfredo sauce
S - built bar
D - cod, rice pilaf and mixed veggies (didn't have this yesterday, DH wanted pasta so I had leftover chicken and veggies)

Good Morning - work was terribly slow yesterday but thankfully we had the cookout to break the day up. Some of the folks who sit on base came over for that. MixxedFit was good although a very small class. Today my coworkers and I are going to have an offsite meeting at the Indian place about 30 minutes away. Our Indian place closed over the summer and our group has been talking about taking a trip over to this one for a while. I'm looking forward to that! And once I get back to the office I have an afternoon meeting. My aunt Dot passed away yesterday - she lives in SC close to my parents. My 3 cousins who live near me in MD were all by her side but I feel so sad for them. She's only a few years older than my mom so I can't imagine what they are going through ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Waiting to see if there will be a service later this week. It's pouring here, and we have an upside-down day so although it's not too chilly now it will be very cold later and maybe some conversational snow. The ground is too warm for it to stick yet. The cleaners are coming today so I had a quick run through tidying up this morning. Wishing you all a good Tuesday! I'm expecting Lori's weather without the snow this close to the ocean which is still comparatively warm. But we may see some flurries and I am more worried about it icing up tonight. Yesterday was a nice relaxing day. I did get the garden pulled and mostly cleared and the last of the granite off cuts that were hidden behind the fence for years are gone! Had a nice lunch with DGF. Normally today would be crazy because of yesterday but given how slow we are at the moment, a 4 day work week is "normal"

Good morning! Chinese and ice cream cake (or fro-yo cake, technically) hit the spot last night, especially after a particularly brutal bootcamp (my sister came too)! Even post-DST with how dark it was, the teacher had us run outside for the warm-up but at least it was warm despite the darkness. I have the same weather as the other northeasterners- 53 when I left my parents' house, but into the 30s and possible snow by early afternoon. Lovely! Work shouldn't be too bad today at least, and very excited to be taking the day off on Thursday. I'm already outlining what all I want to do (mostly enjoyable things, with a little productivity mixed in!) Also the leak in our apartment is apparently fixed so we can use the washer and everything else again, hopefully without anymore issues.

Morning,
Snow is gone be we are now in a deep freeze. -30 wind chills this morning. UGH. Matt finally departed at 6:00p for LA. He sat at O'Hare over close to 9 hours. It was a hard call for him to make (not going) since his Boss and the Owner of the Company were also delayed. I'm just glad he made it. He departs on Friday morning at 8:30a. So far the weather in Chicago on Friday is Sunny and Cold. Praying that does not change. I want him home for the weekend!!!!
I did a workout video before Dinner. Today, I will walk fast on the treadmill (no incline).

Morning, I hope everyone had a lovely three day weekend. The weather was beautiful here but too hot IMHO for fall. My trip down south was fun. My BFF Laura picked me up from the airport and we headed to Newport Beach. Laura showed me the wedding venue and hotel where the will spend their wedding night. We ate Mexican food and enjoyed a premium margarita. We finished the day shopping at Fashion Island. On Saturday we ( bridal party) picked out our dresses, ate lunch and spent the remainder of the afternoon at Laura’s moms home. ❤️ I flew home early Sunday morning; Mike & I went hiking. The area was new for us both and just beautiful, so many beautiful Redwood Trees provided shade. Loved it! Yesterday I spent the day organizing cabinets. I’m hoping to child proof all areas before the grand babies visit for Thanksgiving.
