Here. Had a good day yesterday. Avoided the M/M's on the counter all day and the popcorn (oh the smell!!!) in the afternoon. Drank lots of water and tolerated hunger. I have a plan for the day eating-wise and exercise planned (already have a walk done and weights lifted).

Here. Another good day in the books. Lots of exercise and meals reasonable. Ignored the garlic bread at lunch and opted for the chicken over the pasta casserole (full of cheese, and well, pasta). Drinking lots of water. And sitting

Hello everyone!
That is a great tip from Beck. Yesterday was a high point day for me but I didn't let that derail me for today. I am on track and on point.
If only we had as much compassion for ourselves as we do when we get upset, or mad, or angry with ourselves. I think that I've become a lot more forgiving and striving to talk to myself like I would a good friend.
I've been on track this week with exercise and tonight is agility with my dog so that will be a lot of fun. I have Friday off and I need to think about how I can do something fun or nourishing that doesn't involve food. That does usually involve my dogs so we might go out for a nice long walk.

We are going to visit a friend for the weekend (Friday afternoon through Sunday night). Travel/visits are a BIG diet trap for me, and the friend we are visiting is a food pusher. I need to be firm in holding to my diet goals and have discussed this with Mr. Dig.
